Deer hunting SE Alaska is high output exercise in high humidity, rain, swamps, wind, and general mayhem. Layering is essential, including stripping down to next to nothing. The hood allows for fine temp control as does the mask/neck-gaiter. If soaking wet, this shirt dries on the body in a few minutes. That saves using extra dry shirts. This shirt is for those who hunt inside a terrarium. Made for high output days in the vertical swamp.

Perfect Fit for Average Height
This did exactly what they said it would. I have a long torso, so the fit was a bit short for me, but I’ll give it credit. It was less short than other brands in this category. For someone who doesn’t need tall sizing, this would fit perfectly. I ended up returning it only because I’m outside this brand’s size range. The material is very lightweight, moves well, and feels like it would perform exactly as advertised. If they offered a tall version, I would have kept it.

Perfect Early Season

A work of art
This hoodie fits absolutely true to size but is not restrictive. Allowing flexibility in the field. It did get warm around mid day, but after removing my undershirt and just wearing the hoodie, I was perfectly comfortable. And this was around 88 degrees. It withstood some rough brush. The face mask and hood stayed on without annoyance as well.

Very disappointed, maybe for only using as a base layer it maybe good. But just used it for the first time as my main layer for early season and the arms tattered with strings hanging out and white lines through across the arms. Lightweight Hoodie: The Good and Bad
Archery season opened and I was finally able to try out the lightweight hoodie. It performed as expected in warm conditions. Very lightweight and I stayed cool in the warm conditions. I was really, really disappointed that it did not have a front pouch like every hoodie that has ever been made has. I get it, no need to keep your hands warm but the pocket has other uses. Since I use it for Bow hunting, I keep my range finder in the pouch and it is a perfect storage location for it. Unless it is really hot, I will use my Fanatic Hoodie if possible.

Very lightweight and breathable it holds sent in rather well I have had this core light weight hoodie for like two months and have not washed it at all and have sweat a lot on 90 degree days and the core lightweight does not stink at all after two months of scouting in hot summer weather. The optifade cover blends very well to the north Georgia woods the material snags a little so be carful to not brush up on rough surfaces I really like this core lightweight hoodie I would recomend it as a stand alone layer for early small game season and bow season when it still hot and break it out again for spring turkey.
