Core to the bone

This is the second core Marino 120 hoodie I own. I have a camo version and the green version. It is a perfect layer while being active in colder weather. I use it for backpacking and it is warm enough to keep you warm and cool enough to keep you cool. The long zipper gives you an opportunity to vent when building up body heat. When all cinched up hood on with a shirt over, it keeps me warm down into the upper 40s. As soon as the temp drops below that I just layer on another layer like a down puffy. It packs up small as to minimize space in your backpack. it fits great. I like my tight fitted clothing to be a little loose so I ordered the extra large.

It fits nicely, it feels soft and stretchy, and the hidden balaclava is the best. I'm gonna wear this all summer as I stalk the rivers looking for trout.

Nice but could improve

It’s a quiet big for a large and it is very light weight. I hope lasts though and the face mask is too big as well. Either I need a medium or it’s just strange fitting.

These 120 weight merino hoodies are awesome. Very soft and comfortable. Stretchy enough, cool enough to wear until about 80 in the humid south. Great for layering cooler than 60. Hood and mask fit well, pocket is great. Thumb loops great for keeping the sleeves down when putting on something over it. What else can I say…I have 3!

By far the warmest base layer I’ve found, used it in Canada for waterfowl, even with only using it and not adding additional layers will keep you warm.

The Core Merino 120 hoody (and long sleeve) are the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn. They perform exceptionally as a base layer in colder seasons and are perfect for warm weather as a stand alone shirt. The most comfortable merino products I have ever used.

I bought this as my main layer for colder archery season days and as a base layer as it gets colder. I just tagged out on a bull elk in Wyoming where it was a high of 50 wearing nothing but this. Kept me warm (I run hot) all day and stood up to hiking deadfall with an elk on my back. I would recommend this and would buy it again. Excited to continue using it for some of my later season hunts as a solid base layer.
