Bought in optifade marsh for our warm weather kayak paddles to our honey hole. Haven’t tried in the field as our season has since closed, but this thing is buttery smooth and will be worn a lot!

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

Like with most Sitka gear it more than meets my expectations. I wore the 120 for a few hunts as my to skin layer and then switched to my core lightweight for a couple of hunts. Switched back to the 120, liked it much better. I will stay with all of the Merino layers from now on.

It’s the perfect base layer. It’s almost always the first layer of my kit. My only wish would be that Sitka made a zip off version of this in the pants.

I love this shirt as I will call it. It is thin and makes an excellent base layer. There is one annoying part that is kind of awesome at the same time. It is the face covering piece. It gets in the way when not fully worn, but it works well when worn fully deployed to keep your nose and face warm even in cold temps. I would 100% buy this again. Quite possibly will.

This is the perfect base layer next to skin. I will had a 200 or 300 layer on top of this depending on temps before adding either a gradient hoody or other jacket.

I love the thin hood, im able to hear everything with it up and it keeps my ears warm enough to where I dont have to put up another hood. Super thin and is great for walking into the woods with it on alone since I heat up so quick

Great hooded base to mid layer depending on the temp. Ill run it as outer into the low 60s and layer after that. Material feels good on the skin.
