Awesome base layer that is form fitting but also larger than the original merino layer. I’m 6’1 205 and prefer the size large because it contours to the body. The garment is great for hot days and wicks moisture well along with odor control. I usually run this merino 120 with a 330 merino over top and the ambient jacket or traverse jacket.

I have been a Sitka guy for a couple years now. I have all the core light weight base layers and have used them religiously. I do all my hunting in the southeast- early season whitetail, rut hunting then straight into chasing green heads in AR in the winter. The early deer hunting can be brutally hot and the work days in preparation hotter, so I really rely on my gear to keep me cool, but covered up. This is it man. It’s the most comfortable base layer I have ever put on. It’s a very light yet durable feeling merino. I’ve sweated my tail off in it and it still has no odor. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternative to the synthetic feeling clothes! I’m never going back, and I’m buying a few more pieces to make sure I have plenty to choose from.

You better have a massive head or a really big nose or the facemask wont fit. Just tried mine today. The facemask drops below my chin. The elastic band across the top is not tight and stretching like the core synthetic. Wont be using it again. Going to go back to the synthetic. Very disappointing.
