I have the hooded too, and when I washed it it wasnt itchy. Thats my only complaint with all the merino base gears.

Core Merino

Impressed with the comfort of the Merino material. I live in Florida so it is hot. My first used was on a bear hunt recently in Canada and it too was in the eighties. Long sits but I was comfortable.

The 120 LS is a great quality shirt and I can't wait to wear it this upcoming deer season.

Too warm

Great product but I hunt in southern Florida and was hoping this would compete with the synthetic fabrics I hunt in. I was disappointed, it is thin enough but just too warm. I will use this as a base layer on warm days in Wisconsin and it will probably be perfect for that application

This is my first merino base layer. I've been using synthetic for most of my 20 years of hunting. And after using this 120 core merino I don't think I'll ever go back to synthetic. The moisture wicking capability is incredible. Not to mention the antimicrobial properties of the merino keeps the smell down even after heavy sweating intervals climbing mountains.
