I’m usually not a Merino fan at all since they get all loose and baggy throughout the hunt typically, This shirt on the other hand is perfect. Stayed true to size, and dries decently quick too. Would buy it again.

Super Light

Good quality and light weight. Only complaint is the neck opening is really large and loose - more of a personal preference fot a tighter neck opening.

Warm weather must

Picked one up at Sitka Dallas just based on the feel and look. This shirt is a must for summer in the south. Should have bought 2 or 3.

Great HOT early season shirt , does not have that” itchy” feeling like other brands of merino. true to size , just be careful around briar patches it will snag easy.

Core Merino 120ss

Fit is excellent, they stay soft with no shrinkage after wash. My job requires me to wear concealed body armor and wear this as an undershirt. I have not found anything better than merino wool for this purpose, the temperature regulation is awesome. The layer dries quickly and there is no odor at all. I have used synthetic and cotton shirts in the past which often wind up in the garbage after a few months. These have been great and I am so much more comfortable.

Favorite base layer

Living in Alaska, I need base layers I can trust to wick moisture and not smell after hard use. These merino shirts do exactly that

Wore a ton early goose/ duck in warmer temps and kept me cool and dry. Comfortable under warmer layers as a wicking item as well.

I like how the shirt breaths in warmer seasons - i really try not to sweat in areas I like to hunt and this helps with that.

This shirt is perfect with any layering system Sitka has to offer. It is unbelievable how quickly this shirt dries after a grueling climb.

Best Shirt ever!!

I ordered 2 of these shirts to try them out and after wearing them I can't wear anything else. There amazing, I wore them in early season and in rifle season and they fell great on your skin. You always sweat on your way in, these shirts wick moisture away and when you finally get in your stand your dry without that clammy feeling you always get in other shirts. I was just so comfortable in these shirts that is all I wear underneath anymore. Since then I've ordered more. Fit is good. I'm 6'1" and weigh 230 and wear an XL, most other shirts I wear a 2x but Sitka I wear an XL in everything. If you go buy there fit guide and measure yourself you'll be ok.

Pretty darn solid

I have a love hate relationship with Merino. I hate to love it and I love to hate it. I've put holes in other brands merino on the first wear, I've had pieces of Merino stretch out and get loose and super baggy on the first wear. This piece didn't do any of that. I accidentally ordered a size xl, so I sent it back. Sitka customer service took excellent care of me and made the transaction quick and painless. The replacement was as good as the original which isn't always the case with merino as some of the other brands of merino garments have bad quality control item to item. Here's what's awesome about this shirt. It's super light weight, and incredibly thin and breathable. It dries really really fast. Almost on par with dry times for its synthetic counterpart. After days of use it doesn't stink. I've got no pulls or wear marks on the face of the garment. It doesn't itch like a lot of the other brands of light merino that I've tried. This makes a great baselayer in hot hot weather and a person could easily make a case to use this as a full season base layer. It's been plenty durable for base layer and daily wear duty. The only negative I can see with this shirt personally is that I'd need 4 more of them to wear every day of the week. Good job Sitka I'm 6'2 210 to 215 athlete build and a size large was ideal for me and my intended use as a next to skin baselayer.

Best Lightweight Merino

I have tried a variety of lightweight merino wool shirts from hunting, hiking and outdoors companies. This Sitka Merino 120 is by far the most comfortable on the skin with no itch and feels like you’re barely wearing anything. Even when it’s very hot and humid in the summer this merino is light enough to wear up to triple digits. The 150 merino made by other companies feels twice as thick and hot as the Sitka Merino 120.
