Amazing product! Excellent comfort levels

Amazing product! Excellent comfort levels and construction. As it is Merino, there is a fair stretch factor during wearing. I found that after a wash, the product had a perfect “hugging” athletic fit but after a full day of wearing, they would stretch into an almost loose boxer fit. The waist band has a huge amount of stretch, yet does not feel too tight or constrictive. If you prefer an athletic boxer-brief fit consider going down a size. If you like a looser boxer fit, go with your normal sizing. Additionally, I wore these during a 3 day camping trip without washing, the odor mitigation is superb! Purchase with confidence.

Best underwear

I wear these nearly every day, even indoors at work. Very substantial, and hold up great to washing. They are on the long side, but don’t bunch up under your pants. I like them much more than the Kuiu merino underwear, which are also pretty good.

Best underwear I've owned

As long as these are still produced, I'll probably keep buying them. They don't ride up into my crotch or anus, they're warm, and they're comfortable. I also appreciate that, unlike most underwear that sits below your waist, these comfortably sit above the hip bones, without putting pressure on the scrotum; I have a skinny waist, though, so I'm not sure if this would work for people with wider abdomens.

Solid Boxers

These are thicker than other merino boxers I have from a few other brands, so I wasn't sure how I would like them. Having worn them to do several activities in weather from 40-80 degrees, I really like them. They are comfortable, dry quickly and don't really smell even after an entire day of work.

I'd expect better

trunks are awesome but also probably one of the first major blunders I've seen come from Sitka. the tags (5 total) inside the trunks are massive and stiff, 2 of which are probably 3 inches long. of course these are stitched into the waist of the trunks are are integral to it's composition, meaning you can't just cut a few stitches and pull them out without dismantling the waistband. 20 minutes with a fine point knife and pliers trying to remove these and 2 of my 3 pairs now have holes started in the waist before I've even worn them once. that's $120 worth of underwear for those keeping track. the 5th and final tag I will not even attempt to remove because it's double stitched into the elastic part of the waistband. this is the stiffest and sharpest of all the tags and it's located directly above your crack so I'm anticipating that I'll be noticing it during my 6-8 mile hikes with a 40lb pack tight to my waist. pretty disappointed that no one thought this through in the design and printed the info/made easily removable tags in the layer that will be rubbing against your skin all day. make it right, Sitka?

I bought two pairs of these as it gave me free shipping at the time. I am 5’11” and 190lbs with a 36” waist, so the size charts said to buy the large size. They are too big. Now, since I can’t return them, they are worthless to me. They appear to be well made, and they are comfortable, I just can’t use them.

Keeps you fresh!

I’m a merino convert after this year’s elk hunt. I brought two pair on a 10 day backpacking hunt, rotating each pair out daily. My briefs never smelled funky and the material stayed nice and soft. I did size down to medium, as my large pair felt a little loose. Great fit with the mediums; package stayed close to the body and kept everything where it’s suppose to be. Definitely will pick up some more. Warm weather friendly.
