Sitka Core Merino 330

The Sitka Core Merino 330 hoody is a lightweight and incredibly warm top that can be worn as a stand alone piece or as a layer in frigid temperatures. I recently utilized this garment above timberline, 12,000 ft. while helping a friend scout for Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep. The hoody performed flawlessly! Product seems to be made of high quality. It’s thin, I hope it drys quickly when sweat in. I’ll put it to the test in a couple months.

Awesome product!

I’m 5’8”, 175lb and the large fits me pretty good!! Going to take this on the late Pennsylvania flintlock season for whitetail where it’ll be in the single digit temps. It is noticeably thicker than both the lightweight and midweight merino hoodies (both the older versions and the 110/220’s).

Been saving for this piece of gear ever since it came out. Finally had enough to make the purchase. This is a nice piece and am looking forward to testing it out this hunting season.

This thing is awesome. Fits well and is well designed. I’ve used merino in the past, but this wool is tougher. Great product

It’s 100° here, so no field testing as of yet… Ordered XL so I could fit over wool “longies”. Should be about right. Thanks again Sitka for another piece of “can’t do without” gear.

Nice base layer. I constantly get cold in the outdoors. This base layer adds just a little more warmth and the fit is excellent. Decided to buy another set. Well worth the money.

Nice features

I like the face mask, large chest zipper to regulate heat, thumb loops to use while putting on jackets overtop. I was surprised that it isn’t heavier being a 330. I don’t feel there is much difference compared to the 220.

Great fit and feel.

I’m between a small and medium. I got the medium because they don’t offer a small and I’m very happy with the way the medium fit. It’s the perfect amount of looks I don’t have to worry about shrinkage. It feels high quality and dense. Looking forward to testing it in some colder weather. I’m 5’-6” and 130 lbs.

Received this hoody in marsh

Received this hoody in marsh for Christmas and must say it is very durable. It doesn’t quite have the warmth I was anticipating but it still gives you good warmth and is way less bulky. Lots of people say it has more warmth than the fanatic hoody and I just don’t think I can say the same… yet. Nonetheless it’s a great piece. Size Large fits me well. 5’10 200lbs

The core Marino 330 is

The core Marino 330 is a really nice layer for cold days and as a top layer on warmer days. Has a nice fit and the feel of the fabric is nice to the skin. No itchyness at all.

The wool is awesome

Got home from a hard 5 day bear hunt, and started sorting my laundry. Despite wearing it 5 days, it considered if I should even wash it. It still smelled fresh. (I did end up washing it, but pretty amazing!)

Nice and warm

This paired with a Jetstream jacket has worked well for me in the 40F mornings when the wind is whipping. Or as a stand alone outer when in the 50s. I like it so much that I’ve bought every color now.

Great jacket! It is soft, stretchy, and comfortable. The kangaroo pocket and balaclava style hood are great features that eliminate the need for a separate head cover and hand warmer when sitting in the blind.

This might replace my Fanatic hoody!!!

So far I like it. It seems very nice smooth on and off. Seems very well made. Definitely a great addition to my whitetail gear.

Feels really comfortable and the fit is great. Can't wait for subzero temps to try it out. The built in facemask seems a bit wonky, but willing to give it a try.

Super warm and comfy

As the title says, this hoody dosent play. It's warm and very comterable, found myself using this is upper 30s to 40s with a jetstream upper layer. I was very comterable in those temps with an added 10-15 mph wind. This is a perfect base for the super cold days.
