This hoodie is very warm. It’s stretchy and the lining I the kangaroo pocket is very soft. I have 2 Fanatic Hoodies that are my favorite Sitka pieces. The Merino one seems heavier weight (not bulkier) and I would think of it as more of a layer in piece than the Fanatic.

Great core layer!

Nice and thick core layer that will make a great addition on the frigid hunts. I’m 5’9” 175lbs and the M size is a good fit; not a compression tight base layer.

Love the hoody as I

Love the hoody as I just used it in Illinois for two weeks. The only thing I was disappointed about was the face mask kept fall down where I had set on my face. I suggest a small spring loaded clip as you have on the bottom of the jacket to keep the draft out would work

I bought this for a moose hunt. I wanted something that would keep me warm for sitting and glassing for moose yet dry when walking around looking for moose. It did everything it said it would do.

Have used early season on those cool mornings as an outer layer. Very comfortable for is great.

Great addition

This was my first time trying merino wool. I also used various merino wool base layers with the 330. The 330 is extremely comfortable and kept me warm in 30-40 degree temps. I’d definitely recommend it as a mid layer or outer layer.

Wish I would have purchased this hoodie 5 years ago! Very comfortable and I will be getting rid of number of my old clothing items as I will never wear them again. Best part is the built in face mask.

Just hunted with me Merino core hoodie for the first time last weekend. It kept me really warm and fit perfect. Only thing I'd say is the camo appears a little light in colors than than my jacket and waders in optifade marsh. Other than that, great product, love it! Will buy another and refer others

Ultimate Baselayer

The material and the fit is top notch. Didn’t notice this when I ordered but the kangaroo pocket is a really nice feature.

Unbelievably warm

Wore this piece as my main layer in 40 degree weather and never got cold. Can wear it up to 70 before you start to get hot. Durability is great. Did a spot and stalk in North Dakota and it held up just fine. Keep it up sitka!

Very warm for its weight. Feels good against the skin. Great for layering or worn by itself. Large fits fine

I also own the 330 Core 1/4 zip. I love the feel and comfort of the layer. Once the temps start to drop, it’s my go to

Great quality, mask is a loose fit.

Warm and great quality but I sent back because I don’t see me using the mask with the hood while duck hunting. Mask seemed loose and not a great fit. 1/2 zip seems more applicable for the hunting I do. I wish Sitka would make just face masks or non cold weather gaiters. Ideally I like a mask or gaiter with a hat.
