Finally!!

Sitka has hit a home run with the Delta Pro Zip GTX Wader. I ordered the Chene 2S waders at the same time to do a side by side comparison and found the Sitka GTX waders more comfortable, easier to get on and off (2S removal lug on the back of the boot is rounded and hard to use), and with the reinforcement at the knees seem to be more durable. I wore the GTX out on the VA duck opener a couple of weeks ago from pre-dawn until midafternoon. Very comfortable and easy to move in. And!! When it came time to "hit the head" the zipper feature was great. . . no more fighting to get the wader down!! I bought the XL short in size 10. I am 5-9 and wear XL jackets. These fit really well in the chest and belly area and for once a pair of waders with an inseam that fits a shorter leg!! No extra baggy material to contend with. I usually wear size 9 boots and was very happy that the size 10 boot on the waders was not too big. . . with a thick pair of boot sox it was actually perfect. Time to put these out in an insulated version!!

I purchased waders for duck hunting in 2018. Hard use led to repairs in 2021 and 2025. The service team was outstanding, particularly, Marley. My expectations were exceeded. Sitka definitely backs up it warranty on waders!

Comfortable, but they all leak

Very comfortable, but 4 out of 4 have leaked at either the boot or a seam. Sitka repaired them, but had them for all of duck season. If they cant keep the water out, they're not worth the money.

Kept me warm in Alaska

Absolutely love these waders. Just used them for the first time in Alaska on a 3 day hunt. We stayed out all day in the water hunting off rocks in cold weather and I never had a complaint. I’m a lady with a size 9 shoe so I got the men’s 8 and it was 1/2 size too big which was perfect with my thick wool socks. They fit like a glove and kept me so warm and I was able to move comfortably in the water. We hunted off rocks and while some described them as slippery, I never had slipping issues. I also really like the edge on the heel to get them off easily! Pockets were great and kept my hands warm too. Paired really nice with the duck oven jacket!! Highly recommend these waders!

Outstanding fit of both wader

Outstanding fit of both wader and boots. I measured as referenced on the Sitka website, then ordered and they came the perfect size. They are extremely well-made, comfortable and have excellent flexibility. The front zipper design makes them super easy to get in and out of quickly. Worth every penny. This is not a complete review, since I haven’t had the opportunity to hunt with them yet. I bought them for my upcoming deer hunt in December. I plan to use them extensively then. Very disappointed

Bought these waders between 4 of us 3 pairs leaked around the boot called to get mine fixed they told me 8 weeks to the trash they go definitely way over priced for such a cheap product. Back to a cheaper brand atleast I got a season out of them

They fit good

I have not used them yet. I am generally between and medium and large. I went with the large/short. With a hoodie and jacket on the inside I still had a little room in the chest. I am a 9 1/2 shoe, the 10 fits nice and isn’t too difficult to get off. Im a 30” inseam and the fit is good. I like the straps, they don't appear to stretch. Excited to try them out.

First experience

Just got my first set of these and they lived up to the expectations. The fit and finish is perfect and the sizing was on point. I’ve yet to have a pair of waders fit my height and not bind in my knees when sitting. The Tall sizing is great.

Perfect archery moose wader

Used 7 days in a row on a Yukon archery Moose hunt in September. Perfect waders for the hunt. Warm, easy on and off, light and most importantly dry.

At 5’9”, 160#, I went

At 5’9”, 160#, I went with a medium regular size 10. I’ve taken these waders out 1 time so far, through some swampy mud for teal season. They’re as tough as they say. My typical shoe is 10-11, but I’m narrow-footed. The size 9 may have been a better option to keep the boot fully secured to my foot. I am unsure about the new boots and think the Lacrosse boots on the previous iteration may have been a better combo. Other than this mild frustration, I think these will keep me going for may seasons to come.

Ordered a 12 XL and

Ordered a 12 XL and the legs were too short (crotch hung down too low). Sent them back for a 12 XLT and they fit great, it was a very simple process, they created a label and didn’t cost me anything. Haven’t hunted with them yet but very good quality and well made.

Awesome Waders for Women

Being a woman hunter I was in the market for a pair of uninsulated waders. I decided to give these a try & I’m very glad I did. I usually wear an 8. 5 in women’s shoe/boot. I ordered an 8 & it fits fine with a heavier pair of socks.

I was reluctant to pull

I was reluctant to pull the trigger in these due to the price l but have no regrets. I’ve used them for both waterfowl hunting and salmon fishing in Alaska. As long as you’re made layers are good you’ll be warm. The boots run very true to your sneaker size but are roomy enough for either regular or thick socks. I’m 5’ 8”, 30” inseam, 170 lbs with a 41” chest and went with a LS (Large short) based of the size chart and these fit great. My only dislike has been the belt but only because it’s a little finicky to adjust. That said, I was able to wear my 10mm bear gun with a OWB holster with no issues so it does a great job once you get it set. It won’t come loose. The pockets are not waterproof but unless you are chest deep in water everything in them is staying dry. Overall, these are extremely durable and are built to last. It’s worth the investment!

The quality seems to be pretty good. I used the size selector on the website and it definitely feels quite big. Have not taken it out while layered up, do hard to tell yet. Also price is quite high, especially since there were un- expected tariffs i had to pay once the shipment arrived. All in all pretty happy with it.

First time buying a set a waders, they fit perfect and leaves room to layer up if needed. Excited to try them out this season.

Great quality

The movement is ridiculous. I weigh 222, 5-11 — XL 10 is what I purchased I wear a 10 in red wing Chelsea boot and those work boots fit a little snug until broke in hurt to break in even. I’m an 11-5 in vans lace up low tops. No stores to try on without driving 4 hours so figured I’d go heavy on detail. The XL 10’s fit great foot may be uncomfortable with thick sock until broke in but I like my boots tight in the muck.
