Having hunted in every condition possible I push my waders to the max. Every other type of waders I have worn have been heavy, bulky, sweaty, and cumbersome. Not these. Delta zip waders are the way to go. I have no problem paying this price for a set of waders that will last me seasons longer than any other breathable waders on the market. These waders a super light weight and the boots fit perfectly on my feet allowing me to go through muck and mud without my foot slipping out of my boots. These waders put everything else to shame, they do not restrict me in anyway and make my hunting experience that much better. I no longer have to be worried about whats going on with my gear, just about getting me and my guys on birds. 10 out of 10 recommend.

$950?? No problem! I’m always looking to spend as much as I can. This is how a lot of us started with these waders from Sitka... correct? I mean for 20 years I have worn and preached to all duck hunters that breathable is the ONLY way to go. And having heard from every Arkansas guy that the reason the still wear neoprene is that they wade in cold water. Hell, the water gets cold in Nebraska too! Yes, we aren’t usually standing in it all day (though I have), but the point is this: If you get your insulation from layers under your waders, and only have waders on to keep out the water… allowing your perspiration to escape… you’ll stay warmer every time! And many haven’t listened until they bought their first pair of whatever brand of breathables were made at the time. But the next problem has always been, longevity. For the 20 years I have gone through roughly 2 pairs a year of waist high breathable waders. I’ve always said, “Man I’d pay double for them if somebody would ever make a pair that would last!” Well, I didn’t say 5 times the price. But guess what? I bought a pair last year… wore them every hunt. They were so comfortable and “right”, I was hooked from the f first day! And I even had to have a repair done early on, and it was taken care of immediately! These things are the S^*(t and I love them. $950?? Now that seems cheap!

I looked a long time for waders that would fit. I'm 6'1" and built like a mountain gorilla: long arms, big stomach, short legs. I was able to configure these waders so they feel like they were cut for me. I took them out several times this season - they held up great. Kept me dry in tough conditions. The construction on these waders is excellent. You can abuse these and they'll be fine. The gore tex is great too. You need to layer underneath for warmth, but it's so thin they are very comfortable and easy to move around in. These waders are expensive, but worth every penny. Best damn piece of hunting equipment I own.

I wear these waders year round with trapping and hunting. It’s like wearing a pair of bibs and knee boots, I am always mobile and never feel restricted. I have worn them in every condition MS can throw at them and worn them in the Bearing Sea. I have had to use the warranty one time and will say that SITKA definitely stood behind their product.

Just finished the 2019-2020 duck season in the Mississippi flyway. I started the season with the Delta Zip Wader in Waterfowl Marsh. This system will not be comfortable without Sitka Gradient pants, they don’t have shell storage or “D” rings for a shell strap. The integrated pockets are deep enough to hold extra rounds but these pockets are not warm. I hunt 30 days of the 60 day season and split those hunts in timber and marsh. The Marsh system is a bit to light for timber hunting. I own the complete waterfowl system from Sitka and am COMPLETELY SATISFIED. This review is not based on the crappy season here in the Mississippi flyway

Let's just get it out of the way.. these waders up front expense seems outrageous. I get it. I have gone through 4 pair of waders in 5 years, and hunted everything from Drake to Banded. Almost ever year I have had to replace waders because they get holes, crack, or whatever else.

What made me buy these was the warranty and repair service that Sitka couples along when you purchase. I love knowing that in two weeks when season ends, I can ship these back to Sitka for full inspection and repair, and they will send them back to me 100% ready for the next season. If I can get 3 years out of a single pair, I'll consider my money well spent.

I'll note a couple of things that I wasn't sure of when I purchased. They are NOT insulated except in the boot, but the boot itself is very well insulated. The boot is also ridiculously comfortable and my days of pulling my foot out of the boot when wading through mud are finally over. They are also not baggy at all, which is what sold me. I hate feeling like I'm pulling a parachute through the water when I'm walking around, these fit close to my body and prevent that. I will wear shorts, merino bottoms, thermal sweats, or Gradient pants underneath the waders for insulation depending on temperature.

I just received my new Delta Zip Wader, and they are everything I expected. I am a Pro Staff member of Sitka and it is the only waterfowl and deer hunting gear I wear and this new edition so far has not disappointed. I had a pair of Banded Black labels which were not cheap and they lasted 3 seasons. Obviously these weren't available when I bought the banded ones. I wore them for the first time and they are unbelievably comfortable and fit like a glove literally, If you are considering ordering them take the time to take your measurements, then order from that. As for boot size I wear a size 11 sneaker and I ordered 11 and they are perfect. Can wear heavy socks and not to loose or too tight. The only thing I would recommend to Sitka is to add the chest loops so you can hang a shell holder on your chest, there is no where to put your ammo. Other then that the waders are worth the money if they hold up and Sitka stands behind them like they do there other gear great purchase.

PERFECT overall design. I destroy waders, I have probably been through 8 pair in the last six years until Sitka! I hunted in them all last year (even punctured the knee pad) with no leaks or issues at all.
I sent them in for service and WOW! This is what Sitka means by a " serviceable product" with the proper care and maintenance these waders will last for a very long time. Even with someone like myself who breaks everything.

After wearing waders that were enormously too big for me for years, Sitka finally made some that fit. I’m 6-2, 190 and athletic. 32” waist, 43” chest and 11 size boot. The large tall fit like they’re tailored to me. Through o e season they are holding up great, still like new. They are light and breathable. The zipper is awesome and does not leak. I no longer have to get completely undressed to relieve myself after the mornings coffee. The straps stay put. I really have no complaints about them, the boots are awesome as well, I wear Lacrosse boots at work and love their products too. These are pricey but worth it in my opinion to have waders that fit.

I wanted to write this wader review after a full season of hard use. For the very first time, I tried the Delta Zip Wader at the Harrisburg, PA outdoor show in February 2018. Due to the high demand in 2018 it was very hard to get my hands on the Delta Zip Wader in Timber camo in my boot size. I called around and finally found them at Black Ovis in July of 2018. Boot fit is true to the size since you do not need to wear heavy socks with them. In the past I wore a size 13 to accommodate thick socks, but with light socks I feel extremely comfortable with size 12 in these waders. The integrated LaCrosse Insulated Boots are surprisingly lightweight, yet keep your feet warm well into the late season. The main reason I got these waders was because of the Aquaseal Zipper. It is a heavy duty zipper and is completely waterproof. Waders are so much easier to take on and off because of the zipper. I doubt I will ever go back to the non-zippered ones now. The outer wader layer is extremely sturdy and after a full season of hard use, still looks amazing. The knee pads are fantastic and protect your knee and shin area when you are doing waterfowling activities. I am a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Master Class shooter, so I am extremely picky about my shotgun mounting process. The easy to use suspension system of these waders has no buckle, this is great for shouldering the shotgun quickly, and has no major effect on your length of pull. In case you layer up for late season hunts, you can very easily adjust the suspension system to fit you properly. There are plenty of pockets (open hand warmer, zippered for storage), and the waders come with a belt and a D-Ring loop which can be extremely helpful when you are deploying decoys in waste deep water. These waders have enabled me to stay comfortable on full day hunts in the worst possible weather. All in all, hats off to Sitka Gear’s design team, they hit this one out of the ballpark.

Hands down without a question the best wader you will ever buy, the other waders out there do not compare. First waders that actually fit true to your size. All I wear under them is the heavy weight bottoms and gradient pant, I have yet to get cold standing in the water. The zipper is great makes life easy when you want to take them off or put them on, it also comes in handy when you need to relieve yourself. I typically wear a size 13 boot and decided to size down to a 12 and they fit great I would recommend trying them on before you size down. All in all a fantastic wader you will not regret buying these, it will be the last wader you buy. I bought both patterns in the delta zip, I absolutely love them and you will too.

I worked these waders over pretty good this season walking though some pretty rough brush and sticks while wading to and from hunting holes. typically a mile or more one way. admittedly I had a boot failure late in the season and of course i returned the waders for warranty work and sitka went above and beyond to fix my waders and they were as good as new. top notch product and customer service.

I was pretty skeptical about spending essentially 1k on waders, but i have been using Sitka Gear for all of my big game endeavors for the last 4 years, and could not be happier with the quality of the clothes or the companies customer service, which has been second to none. After my 3rd pair of 120 dollar 600g neoprenes failed and couldn't be repaired, with a soaking right leg and numb feet i pulled the trigger from my duck blind and ordered these bad boys. I was skeptical that they would be warm enough for the Northeast, as the actual wader material didn't seem very thick, but with a pair of long johns and sweats they have been great. My feet no longer turn to rocks after 3 hours either. With just a light pair of socks, the 1200-1500 gram Thinsulate equivalent boots keep my feet toasty even when stationary. I have worn these waders on about 8 trips so far, 2 of which where the temp was below 10, and they have performed great. The zipper is awesome. the only thing I dont like about them is all the hate i get from the other fudds who are jealous of my sweet waders. If these waders hold up, and are serviced when there is an issue, which i see no reason why they wouldn't be, the price was worth it. These will be about the 11th thing i bought from sitka, and will continue to add pieces as needed, great stuff.

These are the best waders I've ever owned. Great fit and function. I've worn these waders both at 0 Fahrenheit and 50 they function well across all temperatures in Idaho. Obviously you need wader pants underneath when the temperature drops as they are breathable waders. The reason I went with these waders is despite the cost I was spending $350 or more every other year to get sub par waders that never held up. One last thing the zipper is well worth its cost and the boot is awesome.
