The rain jacket seems well
The rain jacket seems well made but I had a couple small spots of pass through the first time I wore it. There are two small spots on the right sleeve that darkened and didn't bead water the first time it was out. Other than that, it has been solid.

not the same quality as before
the jacket keeps yo warm, that is what is important. I've been using it while traveling in and out of airports. Unfortunately has started to show wear and piling over the shoulders and back where the backpack straps rub--even after only 4 trips!

Good sleeve length- too much room in the midsection
Overall, I'm happy with this jacket. The fabric is excellent, as expected from Gore Tex. I'm 6'3", 185, very fit with broad shoulders. Bought the XL. The cut through the shoulders and the arm length are both good, which is often an issue with jackets. The only thing I would change is to make the belly/midsection a little slimmer. It's not ridiculously big like some of the modern Sitka fits, but definitely too much fabric, which allows wind a lot of room to blow up and in. Would buy again.

Awesome Jacket
The Dew point is as advertised, light, breathable and keeps you dry. Some lightweight rain jackets tend to wet out in heavy rain, but not the DP. Great for hunting or everyday wear when the weather is less than stellar. I’m 6’4” 240lbs and bought the XL. Large enough to put over layers or wear over a t-shirt.

Solid jacket
Worn this week in Patagonia to hunt red stag where everything has a thorn on it. Super impressed by the durability. Kept me super dry during heavy rain……it is gortex though. Would recommend go athletic build. If you’re fat, don’t buy - it would be a tight fit.

Good fit and isn’t too "athletic".
Good fit, high quality. Color is more of a blue-grey than the photos. Love the jacket. As a guy with a little bit of a belly, a lot of the Sitka stuff is often too much of an athletic cut to layer. This is perfect for a fit so you can wear a shirt or wear it around town and not feel restricted. The only thing that keeps it from being an absolute perfect jacket would be a stowable hood in the collar.

Bomb Proof in the Alaskan Wilderness!
I wore this jacket while teaching a seven day Wilderness Survival course in the Alaskan wilderness in 2024. It rained nonstop the last three days and it kept me completely dry. I also have a small head, yet was able to adjust it perfectly so it doesn’t obscure my vision. I am 5’10”, 180lb and the size large fits me perfectly. I have since bought the pants to go with it. Absolutely love them both!

This thing will keep you
This thing will keep you dry and is windproof as well! I was out for 4 hours this morning in the rain and my shirt underneath was completely dry after I took the jacket off. The pit zips are nice as well to let your skin breath and get the heat out. Seems really durable as well. I also like how the hood is plenty big to keep the rain off of your head.
