Awesome Bag!

Love this bag! It’s my new go to hunting bag for all my hunting gear. Built great from what I can tell so far and holds a good amount of hunting clothes. The backpack straps make it easy to throw over the shoulder and transport.

I love my Drifter Duffle, lots of room for all my hunting clothing and gear. The shoulder straps connect and disconnect easily and the bag has other convenient handles as well.

Good bag for long trips

Overall great bag. Plenty of room for all my gear for a Sitka black tail hunt on Kodiak Island. Only wish it had a shoulder strap too otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Nice bag, not 100% waterproof

Bag is nice, smaller than what I was expecting. Also I didn't read the description close enough, the whole bag isn't waterproof, just the floor of it. The zipper is not waterproof. Besides that it will be a nice bag to through in the airplane with my hunting gear.

Great bag for traveling to the hunt

This bag is large enough to pack for your away hunt. Also the removable shoulder straps are great for hauling multiple luggage items, like a bow case through the airport.

Great duffle

This duffle is by far the best built bag I have ever purchased. I liked it so much I bought another one. The pack straps makes it very easy to carry and frees your hands for carrying rifle cases, etc.

Perfect for your adventures

Took it on an 8 day trip to Wyoming for gun season. Was able to fit all my clothes and gear into it. Able to withstand the beatings when being processed through the airline baggage system. One improvement I can see would be to add compression straps, but not a deal breaker. Awesome bag kept my bag dry in the back of the pickup when we drove through a rain/snow shower on our way to camp.

Very durable and roomy. I am 6’4” tall and 275# so my hunting clothes take up some room! Not a problem with this bag. I would prefer that it did not have the backpack straps though as they get in the way some. Overall a great product!!

Quality bag as one can

Quality bag as one can expect from Sitka gear. They seem to be more roomy than the dimensions would suggest. I really like the backpack option. The straps are easily removed and reinstalled. Zipper is heavy duty and I think this bag will last for years.

Amazing quality

This bag looks like it was made to be rugged. I found it at the store and was very pleased because I had been looking for a waterproof hunting bag that can hold all my gear. I’m going hunting for 10 days and temperature ranges during my time will be 75 degrees all the way down to 15 degrees. This going to require me bringing more gear than I generally would and I am excited to write a review after my trip on if it stands up to the test.

Not airline friendly

I purchased this bag specifically to carry clothes on a job I had in south America. After one trip with the bag, it was literally falling apart. I know the airline companies aren't careful with bags but I would expect an outdoor company like sitka to have an above average durability. I travel for work all the time, this is the first bag I have ever had that fell apart on one overseas trip.

The drifter duffle bags are

The drifter duffle bags are exactly the quality product you would expect from Sitka. I used the 110L and the 50L bags on a two day float trip and they did great. Kept my items inside dry and I put some things in a dry bag inside the duffle for added peace of mind. I like the backpack style straps along with the duffle bag style carry straps, but it gets pretty 'busy' on top of the bag trying to unzip and access items inside. That being said, the ease of removing the backpack style straps is easy if you wish not to use them. The bags feel durable and the bottom of the bag is very thick/durable for packing them around and sitting them on the ground and such. Having a way to secure the flap over the zipper to the bag itself would be nice too. Most cheaper bags have velcro, but velcro is to loud so maybe magnets would be an option. What would make these bags top tier would be a waterproof zipper essentially making them submersible. Overall, I would recommend them and would have no hesitation in buying them again. Great job Sitka!

Love this durable bag, just throw it in it has plenty of room. The removable straps are great what a great way to remove them and lock them in. You can feel confident your stuff is dry and secure.

So far so good. This is a well built pack that can handle a lot of gear. I have only used it once but it seems to be made to take a lot of punishment. Its no frills carry a lot of gear bag. It works great for transporting my gear in bulk.

I really do like it! It’s versatile and water resistant. Only down fall is I thought it was larger than expected so only disappointed with that factor. Otherwise great product!

Very high quality bag— I

Very high quality bag— I expected nothing less. I have many Sitka hunting products, but this was my first non-hunting accessory. The only con i have found is this bag is NOT waterproof. I've left this bag in the rain during road trips and my clothes have gotten wet every time. This is my reasoning for giving 4 stars.

I wanted a large duffle

I wanted a large duffle to transport all of my gear when traveling and I’ve found it! The build quality is excellent and the interior pockets are useful for storing smaller items. I can’t say enough positive things about this duffle.

Very nice looking bag but

Very nice looking bag but not as thick as I thought it would be. Hopefully it holds up throwing it in the back of the truck on long trips. Has some nice zipper compartments on the inside of the main opening of the bag and also on the inside on one of the sides.

Overall, I'm very impressed by

Overall, I'm very impressed by this bag. It's large size is able to fit all the gear I'd want to take on a two week trip and the pockets keep everything easily accessible. You may want the 50 for a long weekend trip or the 75 for a week long depending on how much you pack. By now I probably have just about every piece of subalpine gear and I'm able to fit it all in the bag with room to spare. The flap over the zipper should help ensure that no water gets in your gear when stored in the truck bed during a storm. Keep in mind that it's on the louder side as expected from a water-proof bag. I'd also like the option of attaching the backpack style straps to the bottom of the bag to keep them out of the way of the opening, but they were easy to detach and store inside the internal pocket.
