Good for EDC for work, great for travel

I’m using this bag every day for work, which is not its highest and best use. I think it’s more aimed for a travel pack and not an every day to the office or school pack. The main compartment is more for packing clothes than it is books or files. That fact notwithstanding, it’s a great overall pack. It’s comfortable has lots of good interior pockets, and very light.

Works great for international trips as a personal item. Only request would be to make it a fews sizes bigger and also add a handle/sleeve on back of the bag for use with carryon Handle.

Great office/laptop bag

I work as a project manager in Alaska and manage remote project from time to time. I use the bag daily but it really shines when I have bush plane flights, on and off floats and down poor rain. I never worry about the laptop and paperwork inside. Been a great all around daily bag.

Versatility

Very solid daypack, but much more versatile than just a daypack. Perfect for travel with the 60/40 duffel-style split, it really combines the carry-on and the personal item into one. I use this as my daily driver pack, where I'm able to carry everything for work and the gym/exercise (including a change of clothes and running shoes) in one bag. My only area for improvement is the laptop sleeve, which could be lofted 1" off the base of the bag to prevent the corner of your laptop hitting the ground when you put the bag down too quickly.

Great carry on

This carry on is built very well and should hold up much better than the ones I have used in the past…it’s definitely more sturdy and the fabric seems to be very water resistant. Great zippers that hold the extra stuffing too!

Perfect daily backpack. Or travel/carry on bag.

Not for right-handed folks

This is a great bag for everyday use. There's only one problem: it's made for left-handed people. It has a great concealed carry compartment, but if you're right-handed, then you're going to have to take the bag off to access it. Now if the zipper for that compartment were on the other side, then you could quickly access it in an emergency while letting it hang from your left shoulder. I really wish Sitka would make this bag in a right-handed version with the zippers on the other side.

Absolutely love this little backpack,

Absolutely love this little backpack, I use it for everything! And it’s holding up very well. Zippers are tough, straps are comfortable, and it holds a lot more than you think it would. Very happy with with!

Good solid bag. I work

Good solid bag. I work in lots of different types of weather and so far have had no issues with water. Plenty of pockets to organize cords and tools for when I’m at a work site.

Perfect day bag

This bag is perfect for a weekend trip or daily item carry. I work a 24 hour shift and this is my bag I keep spare clothes, books, office supplies in and still have plenty of room. Zippers are nice, waterproof material, the side opening (like a suitcase) is amazing. Now the wife wants one!

Simple, secure and great to use!

I travel for work quite often and this is a great tool to haul all my equipment around. Plenty of pockets with ample space, in addition to internal pockets/zippers, to separate and secure cords. I can also put all my peripheral devices in another pocket.

Good Bag ; wish it had one more pocket

Overall this is a really good bag. I wish it had an outside zipper pocket up top though for quick grabs like wallet, phone charger, etc.. if I could do it over again I would get a different bag that had quicker access to essentials. Besides that the quality and comfort is exactly what you’d expect from Sitka…top notch!

Sturdier than expected

I have a LOT of sitka gear and am always impressed. This one was no exception. I plan to use it as my day-to-day backpack for travel and flying.

GREAT PACK!

This is my new go to pack. I use it every day for work, and as my carry on for traveling. Like all Sitka Gear, built with a lot of thought put in to detail and efficiency.

Needs a few more pockets

Needs a few more pockets inside for organizing things. I carry it for my daily bag with my laptop and it works great, just not great for organizing chargers, flash drives, or anything small. As for packing clothes and a few things for an overnight stay, I’d say it’s perfect.

Drifter Pack

Fantastic. Was able to take laptop, Nalgene bottle, other various electronic accessories, one days worth of clothes to include sweater and light jacket. Additionally, I was able to pack several items to include a stuffed bear and small blanket for my toddler. Highly recommend for traveling with children. Considering using as a diaper bag in future trip due to the side open zipper.

Another well thought out product from Sitka! The many pockets and storage areas allow for good organization options and roomy enough to accommodate a long weekends worth of gear.
