Just like all your hoodies, the light Wait hoodie the fantastic and the guard are great. The built-in facemask and the equinox guard is light enough for warm weather plus for early deer season and for turkey season. Keep them pesky ticks away thumbs up. I’m usually a large but buy things Larger and because they run small made for athletic people so if you’re not thin and trim by the next size up in everything they have

In south Texas the mosquitos can bite through most early season gear, but this shirt really does work as described. Mosquitos don’t bite through it and it requires fewer washes than all other shirts

I have used this at times when there were lots of aggressive mosquitoes. Normally they eat me alive but with this on they wouldn’t land and appeared to just bounce off. Worked great for me. I do find it doesn’t breath as well as the Core Light Weight Hoody but the trade off is well worth it when the bugs are bad.

Just wanted to recognize how great this product is and acknowledge the fact that you finally made a product for us southern hunters. I have worn this night hog hunting in south Mississippi, deep in the bug infested back bayous and it kept me completely bite free. I wore the hoodie, pants, hat and gloves with hood up and face cover in place. Even with the high temps and extreme humidity I did not get over heated while sitting or trailing my prey. Can't thank you enough. Now, if you can just make a tough, lightweight pant and top for pushing through the briars on those hot spring mornings, you'd really make my day. Truly enjoy the Sitka Gear, well made, well fitting and worth the price 'cause it works!

Great weather performance, poor bug guard.
Not sure if the mosquitos are just relentless in Virginia or what, but they were just biting right through this. Heat wise, its fantastic for warmer hunts and super comfortable, but I'm disappointed in the functionality as it pertains to mosquito protection.

Great product but seems to run big
This is a great product. I tend to run warm and this shirt breathes exceptionally well. I recently used during a September elk hunt with temperatures in the 70's and 80's - it was comfortable even while wearing the hood and face mask. My only issue is that it seems to run big. I have several other XL Sitka shirts, but this one feel very baggy.
