Good

Light weight. Good for Florida just about all year round until we get a cold front or 2.

Equinox is Good to Go

Bought the first one, went to the fields that swarm with mosquitoes and other flying insects that bite, while wearing the new hoodie. Came home and only could find two bites, far less from prior trips where I was one bitten specimen. Worked so well I bought two more, now getting them for the family.

Very comfortable. Very quiet. Breathable. All around a great piece of clothing to add to your hunting arsenal.

Great for early season hunts in warmer weather. Breathable material that also protects from mosquitoes and other insects. Definitely worth it for hunting warmer climates

It Works

Just wanted to recognize how great this product is and acknowledge the fact that you finally made a product for us southern hunters. I have worn this night hog hunting in south Mississippi, deep in the bug infested back bayous and it kept me completely bite free. I wore the hoodie, pants, hat and gloves with hood up and face cover in place. Even with the high temps and extreme humidity I did not get over heated while sitting or trailing my prey. Can't thank you enough. Now, if you can just make a tough, lightweight pant and top for pushing through the briars on those hot spring mornings, you'd really make my day. Truly enjoy the Sitka Gear, well made, well fitting and worth the price 'cause it works!

Fits great and extremely comfortable and have had no bites so far

Great weather performance, poor bug guard.

Not sure if the mosquitos are just relentless in Virginia or what, but they were just biting right through this. Heat wise, its fantastic for warmer hunts and super comfortable, but I'm disappointed in the functionality as it pertains to mosquito protection.

Great hoodie

This hoodie was a life saver during my mosquito infested bear hunt in northern Wisconsin. I like the built-in face mask as well.

No more bugs

Guiding in Alaska for over 20 years, I have come to rely on quality gear to make life easier. The equinox guard hoody is one of the pieces of gear that I never leave camp without. I highly recommend this hoody

Great product

Hoodie does as advertised. Kept me from getting eaten alive by Louisiana mosquitoes during an early teak hunt 10/10 recommend.

Very comfortable exactly what i was hoping for but very big. The xl is a tad too small and the xxl is like a blanket. However I'm still very happy with the purchase.

SEXY TIME

With this top on, I feel like I’m not wearing anything. The added bug and critter protection is a great addition. It does run big. I normally wear a XL, but I ended with a Large. Great addition to any hunting system.

Very nice piece, runs true to size in body however I feel the arms seem to be a bit long in comparison to other size large items.

Good fit, comfortable, well-designed

Very thin material so should be great in warmer weather hunts. Covers a lot of the hands nicely, if thumbs put through the holes, but comfortable if not. Face mask and hood comfortable and covers all but eyes when up. Haven't hunted in it, but impressed with fit and comfort.

Amazing Hoodie

I got this hoodie as a top layer and I love it. It does run big I should have bought a large instead of an XL but none the less, still a quality item. I'm excited about the new pattern that just came out and looking forward to trying it out this winter.

Great product but seems to run big

This is a great product. I tend to run warm and this shirt breathes exceptionally well. I recently used during a September elk hunt with temperatures in the 70's and 80's - it was comfortable even while wearing the hood and face mask. My only issue is that it seems to run big. I have several other XL Sitka shirts, but this one feel very baggy.

Exactly What I Needed!

I was looking for an early season hoody that I could use in the warmer weather and this was perfect! I used it for the first time this weekend and it did not disappoint. I had 4 deer walk right in to me and never knew I was there. Highly recommend this piece.

I love the product but

I love the product but I returned it because it was to big.

Comfortable and well designed

Perfect for every day use or for out in the field. Wore it for a Wyoming antelope hunt in late September and was great for the cool morning and hot evenings. and the build in mask is great for extra cover or wind protection, but doesn't get in the way when not in use. Recommend XL over L for lengthier people.

Perfect early season top

I wore this too for some early season scouting. It’s as advertised! It’s not hot and it kept the bugs off of me. Highly recommend!!

Wish it had two slash pockets in the front

A great piece of gear for early season. In light, early season clothing "logistics space" is limited, and at a premium. Two more front "hand warmer" type pockets for elk diaphragm calls, etc... would really help.

By far my new favorite top. Hiked all day in it and it never started to smell. Super light and breathable.

Love the product. Fits true to size. Leaves enough room to put thin layers underneath and also great for bugs in early season.

Great product

The Equinox products are the same fit and quality, with no apparent odor or other negative effect of the insecticide treatment. The built in gators in the pants are not even noticeable, but provide an effective physical barrier to ticks climbing up from the ground and grass. A great product!

Equinox guard hoodie optifade

I really love this hoody. It’s absolutely amazing! I did however, enter a small pond and got absolutely destroyed by mosquitoes. I had over 20 bites on me. I applied some feet and it helped. Normally where there isn’t many mosquitoes around, they don’t bother me. I still give this a high rating as it’s super durable. No rips or tears from getting caught on branches.
