Equinox Guard Hoodie Reviews

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Great piece, way more loose than i was expecting, i typically wear an xl in all other clothing brands. pay attention to that sizing chart, it’ll save ya!

This hoodie has ever feature you could ever want or need.

Absolutely love this hoodie perfect

Absolutely love this hoodie perfect for early bow season!!!

Best hunting brand around

Good but load

Deer hunted in rain all weekend. Dewpoint rain coat worked great, stayed dry whole time. Only issue is that it is loud.great for gun hunting but not for sneaking on deer with a bow

Hoodie

Love my Equinox hoodie, so comfortable to wear as a layer while upland bird hunting in early season.

bf loves it

it is perfect for early waterfowl season!

Awesome shirt

Super quality and lightweight. Wish it had a chest pocket. Great for turkey hunting

Great hoodie!

Great hoodie!

Great for hot days

Great for hot early season days down in GA

This shirt and the whole

This shirt and the whole Guard series is a must if you’re hunting in the south or anywhere when tons of mosquitoes/ticks.as for fit I’m 6’1 210 lbs athletic build and a Large fits perfect. It’s not tight and the material stretches. I wear an under armor large for compression

Just like all your hoodies,

Just like all your hoodies, the light Wait hoodie the fantastic and the guard are great. The built-in facemask and the equinox guard is light enough for warm weather plus for early deer season and for turkey season. Keep them pesky ticks away thumbs up. I’m usually a large but buy things Larger and because they run small made for athletic people so if you’re not thin and trim by the next size up in everything they have

Light weight

This shirts is extremely lightweight and comfortable. Built in face mask is a great addition

What was needed

This is what I needed in the warm weather. I use it every time I go deer hunting in NC. No need for a mask with it built in face cover. Plus the bug protection it a wonderful feature.

Fits great

Fits great

Nice for warm weather

Very comfortable and lightweight shirt. Nice for early season and looks good on a date night.

Cool, comfy, breathable

Fits great. Love the hood and face covering.

Great piece of gear

In south Texas the mosquitos can bite through most early season gear, but this shirt really does work as described. Mosquitos don’t bite through it and it requires fewer washes than all other shirts

Good hoodie

Good layering piece

Equinox Guard Hoodie

Great hoodie! Solid breathability, and keeps the bugs away nicely during a hot day in the woods. I wear this piece when hunting temps range from 80’s-lower 60’s. Face mask is great too- breathes well, doesn’t fog up glasses.

Amazing

I have used this at times when there were lots of aggressive mosquitoes. Normally they eat me alive but with this on they wouldn’t land and appeared to just bounce off. Worked great for me. I do find it doesn’t breath as well as the Core Light Weight Hoody but the trade off is well worth it when the bugs are bad.

Nice piece

Nice for early season duck hunting or deer hunting when the bugs are out

Hoodie

Same as the pants

Awesome

Can honestly say it’s amazing. Mosquitoes in South Georgia are brutal during hunting season. Plus hot humid weather. Equinox is a game changer.

Sitka

Awesome product!

Guard hoodie

It’s nice and breathable and hides your face pretty well i recommend getting it 1000%

Best lightweight hoodie

Great early deer season and spring turkey

Works great. It kept the

Works great. It kept the mosquitoes and ticks away on a two day backpacking trip. The sleeves are a little long for me but not a big deal.

Good

Light weight. Good for Florida just about all year round until we get a cold front or 2.

Equinox is Good to Go

Bought the first one, went to the fields that swarm with mosquitoes and other flying insects that bite, while wearing the new hoodie. Came home and only could find two bites, far less from prior trips where I was one bitten specimen. Worked so well I bought two more, now getting them for the family.

Equinox Guard Hoodie Review

Very comfortable. Very quiet. Breathable. All around a great piece of clothing to add to your hunting arsenal.

Highly recommend

Great for early season hunts in warmer weather. Breathable material that also protects from mosquitoes and other insects. Definitely worth it for hunting warmer climates

Hoodie and jacket

Great product

Nice

Fits great

Best damn hoodie ever

Great for warmer weather and keeps the jackass mosquitoes and ticks off of me

Excellent

Bought for NC Deer archery season. Thin enough to be comfortable in the heat. The repellent is a huge plus as well!

Equinox Hoodie

Sitka gear is by far the best of the best in all the great they make. The Equinox Hoodie is no different. I absolutely love it.

Nice

It’s Sitka, always quality

Equinox Guard Hoody

it’s good just a little big

It Works

Just wanted to recognize how great this product is and acknowledge the fact that you finally made a product for us southern hunters. I have worn this night hog hunting in south Mississippi, deep in the bug infested back bayous and it kept me completely bite free. I wore the hoodie, pants, hat and gloves with hood up and face cover in place. Even with the high temps and extreme humidity I did not get over heated while sitting or trailing my prey. Can't thank you enough. Now, if you can just make a tough, lightweight pant and top for pushing through the briars on those hot spring mornings, you'd really make my day. Truly enjoy the Sitka Gear, well made, well fitting and worth the price 'cause it works!

Great shirt

Fits great and extremely comfortable and have had no bites so far

Great weather performance, poor bug guard.

Not sure if the mosquitos are just relentless in Virginia or what, but they were just biting right through this. Heat wise, its fantastic for warmer hunts and super comfortable, but I'm disappointed in the functionality as it pertains to mosquito protection.

Great hoodie

This hoodie was a life saver during my mosquito infested bear hunt in northern Wisconsin. I like the built-in face mask as well.

No more bugs

Guiding in Alaska for over 20 years, I have come to rely on quality gear to make life easier. The equinox guard hoody is one of the pieces of gear that I never leave camp without. I highly recommend this hoody

Great product

Hoodie does as advertised. Kept me from getting eaten alive by Louisiana mosquitoes during an early teak hunt 10/10 recommend.

Thin but nice

It’s thin I thought it might proved a little more warmth, but it’s worth it

Very comfortable exactly what i

Very comfortable exactly what i was hoping for but very big. The xl is a tad too small and the xxl is like a blanket. However I'm still very happy with the purchase.

Great shirt, keeps you cool

Great shirt, keeps you cool and covered

SEXY TIME

With this top on, I feel like I’m not wearing anything. The added bug and critter protection is a great addition. It does run big. I normally wear a XL, but I ended with a Large. Great addition to any hunting system.

Great Fit

Great fit and very comfortable great product
