Perfectly Flexible!

Holds exactly what I need. Easy to add a platypus water bladder if needed. Also easily holds jacket etc in cooler weathers. Seat system works great for me.

Lightweight turkey vest

I like the equinox turkey vest very well it’s perfect for a long day on the mountain. The only change I would make is to switch the box call & mouth call pocket. I’m right handed & am used to having my right side unobstructed for quick pull up shots. Other than that I love the new vest it will be my new go to

Love the compact, close to the body design. Everything is easily accessible when you need it. The way the seat stows away but is easy to quickly drop down is great for the run and gun set-ups.

Run & Gun

This Turkey Vest is perfect for the run and gun hunter! Its fit is comfortable and stays in place. Its compartments are laid out well keeping all necessary essentials at your fingertips in a streamline manner without adding extra bulk. This allows me to move around quickly and confidently and has also allowed me to belly crawl into position more than once without being concerned of loosing calls or having them make noise. The back compartment is just big enough to store a layer or two as the morning heats up especially if you’re on the move. The seat is simple and effective, staying up close while walking and being right where you need it when sitting. The fit and finish is exactly what I would expect from Sitka!!! The only reason I give this vest a 4-star review is because I believe the system designed for carrying a turkey could use some fine tuning. It’s not something I use often, but after carrying a 20lb bird through the woods for over a mile there’s definitely a couple things I’d change on that. I’d start by having it be on both shoulders to disperse the weight better. I’d also recommend the addition of a light weight safety orange sack (similar to one a decoy would be carried in) that could be secured to the pack. I think it would help keep the bird in place and protected (for those who might want a mount done) while walking any distance through the woods. Overall as a guide, I strongly recommend this vest over any others on the market!

Sitka Turkey Vest

I'll be honest I hate turkey vests, I've sold or given away everyone I've ever owned, but this one is legit. By far the best one on the market. Small and sleek, but enough room for anything I need. I'm trying to find other species I can use it to hunt now so I have a reason to wear it more.

Wish I could have got it subalpine

But the sale price of this print was too good. Functions the same. Killed my first bird first day out with this and it was nice not having all my stuff crammed in my pockets.

Fits well

Pros The vest fits great. Gives a decent amount of storage in back. The seat pad works perfectly. Cons I wish the storage for slate strikers was better. Maybe overall just a little more storage up front for ease of access.

Turkey Vest

The vest itself is very easy to use, and universally adjustable to your body structure. My only complaint is that the foam cushion is very uncomfortable when sitting down for longer than 30 minutes. I had a Tom that wasn’t cooperating so I ended up having to stay put for a while against a tree line, and I could not get comfortable on that cushion whatsoever. I do recommend this product for the vest only, not so much the cushion.

-Fit of vest is good,

-Fit of vest is good, very adjustable - Front selection of pockets is good, but would be nice to have a dedicated slot to put some hand trimmers which are great for trimming up brush you sit under. Box call slot does work for that if not using box call. - Rear pack needs improvement. The pack volume needs to increase a bit in order to accommodate both water and extra clothing like rain jacket, puff jacket for sitting etc. Currently too shallow. If the depth of existing pack was 2-3” deeper that would work. Compression strap would bring that in if not full. -Beaver tail on very back of pack needs more ability to open up, especially at bottom. This is great place to stuff a collapsible decoy and do so without compromising the volume of the main pack. - Padded seat is excellent. Good thickness and easy deployment and re secure when on the move. Everything about this vest is quality like other Sitka gear, but for the high price of vest the rear pack needs improvement to be more accommodating of extra clothing and some gear to adjust for weather.

Very comfortable and adjustable vest. This has a very low profile and keeps everything tight to the body. There are no worries about things flopping around when moving and making noise. The downside is that the vest is not integrate great with the Bino-harness, but it is manageable

Love the vest feels very light weight, plenty of pockets to hold calls and other things. Only thing I would like changed on it is for maybe the magnet on the pouch for you pot and mouth calls to be a little stronger, but other then that amazing vest better then any other vest on the market.

Fast and light!

I've have been looking for the ultimate turkey vest for fast and light hunting but one that holds the items that i need. This vest is very near the perfect vest for me. Granted, i carry a variety of things (probably too much) but all of them have a use in my excursions. The pockets are located very well and carry my "tools" securely and quietly. The only addition i could recommend would be a dedicated pocket for my cell phone. Overall, well done Sitka!

The best turkey vest ever

This vest is ideal for “running and gunning”. It is so light weight and the seat is incredibly easy to pull down and up. My other vests are bulky and come with clips for the seats instead of the draw string like feature on this one. This vest is full of pockets and has been designed perfectly to fit any type of call you need for all your Turkey adventures. I bought it for myself and then my husband loved it so much he also bought one! I would buy this vest over and ove,period!
