Fanatic Hoodie

Haven’t tried it out in the woods yet, but the fit and feel of the fanatic hoodie is great. The hood shapes to your head real nice, the face mask has just the right amount of stretch to move with you and not be too flimsy, and the chest pocket and kangaroo pouch is an added bonus to have on this hoodie. If I had to change anything, and there isn’t much, but if I had to it would be to shorten up the length of the sleeves because it can bunch up on your wrist if you don’t use the built in hand mittens and the thumb holes. I would use those if I didn’t have gloves on me. Other than that, a great product for my first ever Sitka piece!

Super universal, lightweight, yet warm. Usually wear just this or over a tee short when in the 50s. Fits great under the fanatic coat as well.

All season Hoodie

The Fanatic Hoodie is my go to outer layer for most of the season. When combined with good core base layers its all you need. It is silent, warm and allows you to move around freely. The only feature I do not care for are the built in mittens. I use very light gloves and since this hoodie has a built in muff, I don't have a use for the mittens. Since they are integrated, it is a bit awkward to fold them completely out of the way. The other benefits of this hoodie outweigh the mitten thing and I wouldn't hunt without this.

Good hoodie

Hoodie fits nice and is extra long which is nice when saddle hunting. Is warm but breaths so I don’t sweat bad on the walk in. So far I really like it.

Favorite fall hoodie

Great hoodie for 30-55 degree weather alone with undershirt. Add a good base layer for the 30 degree days and you’re good to go.

Love this Hoodie

Been in the field several times now with this hoodie. Early season in upstate SC area. Extremely comfortable and I love the built-in face cover. You can use the face cover with the hood or with a warm weather Sitka cap.

Integral part of my system

The fanatic hoody is a mainstay in my system as an outer layer in the mid to upper 50’s and is always a mid layer once temps drop. The hood with the built in face mask is perfect. One of my favorite pieces and the new Cover pattern is great for the SE!

Amazing warm hoodie

Just bought it a couple weeks ago. We really haven’t had that cold of temps. Wore it in the 50s with just a short sleeve shirt underneath and was warm.

Sitka fanatic hoodie review

It’s a very nice hoodie. Only thing I would change would be the logo. Instead of a vinyl logo I wish it were sewn on instead. But other that that a great product. Happy with my purchase

Very comfortable and warm however the fabric started pilling almost immediately. Especially bad where in contact with bino harness. Only a few days of use before pilling started. I didn't even know it had the flip over hand muffs but they were great on chilly mornings.

I’ve used these hoodies for a couple years now and absolutely love them. I will have to do inventory but I think I have 4 or 5 of them, one of the best hunting investments I’ve ever made.

Functional everyday use

While my plan is to use this as a secondary base layer for hunting, it has become my everyday go to for everything! From early morning hikes, work around the house and yard, lounging or going into town, the Fanatic Hoodie does it all! I’m 190, 5’11” and the large is perfect for me! Can’t wait to use this piece under my waders for duck season!
