Fantastic Fanatic

I am an archery hunter that has to put warmth and silence at the top of my priority list. The Fanatic hits on both needs and though there might be other jackets as warm, there are none as cozy, and none as silent. I absoluetly recommend. Sizing is tough for me with Sitka, and the absence of a Large Tall is not ideal. However, the XL fits me at 6'3"/180lbs just fine, with room for my binos and layers beneath. There are few changes I would make to this jacket, though only one seems glaring. . . the lack of a hood. I understand the need to hear and avoid stacking hoods, but this jacket is meant for colder days when flipping up a drop hood would still allow the unique collar arrangement and prevent having to carry in more headwear.

Sitka is awesome period. 6'3 240lbs got a 2XL and returned for XL. I thought maybe I would have to size up to fit all the layers but they have that figured out already so just order your normal size.

Along with the fanatic bibs this is the best thing I bought. I love the hand warmer pocket in front. Just put in a rechargable hand warmer and you're good all day. . . . Not a damn Con I can thing of either. . . best money I ever spent was on the fanatic bibs and jacket. . . you won't be disapointed

Weather has been in twenty’s and teens with snow and high winds. This jacket is so so warm. Built in hand muff is clutch. Couldn’t be happier with purchase you won’t be disappointed.

It is great it. It blocks the wind and it really warm. Great design with the front pocket to help keep your hands warm in the freezing temperatures.

Already had the camo one, wanted the black version for ground blind hunting. Super warm and quiet, really loved the hand warmer pocket. It's like wearing a sleeping bag in cold weather.

Overall I love the jacket.

Overall I love the jacket. VERY VERY warm and comfortable. My only wish is they made it in TALL versions cause it is shorter on me then I would ideally like, in addition the sleeves are somewhat tight but there is plenty of room in the chest area. Its almost like the chest is a LARGE but the arms are a medium. Again overall I really like it and would buy it again.

This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned

#1 cold weather jacket!

Used it this year in northern michigan in 15 degrees with a long sleeve baselayer and it's an unbelievable piece of gear! Outstanding pocket layout for rangefinder in the chest pocket and handwarmers in the kangaroo pouch. Dead silent and extremely wind resistant. Will be adding more sitka pieces in the future!

Best hunting jacket i’ve ever owned. very warm, quiet, and it fits very well. Also, first time i ever wore it hunting i was lucky enough to shoot a buck with my longbow.
