Very pleased with coat. Do wish it had a removable hood and inner pockets but that’s my preference. Other perfect coat.

Was a big anti-Sitka guy

Was a big anti-Sitka guy before this jacket. Got it when it was on sale, I’m all in now. Been out at 20 degrees with 30mph wind gust and didn’t feel a thing.

Great cold weather gear

Everything is spot on but I swear every time I put on or off the jacket I swear I hear stitches popping time will tell and I guess I will send it back for repair… been ok so far

We finally had some windy, cool days and was able to test this jacket out. It did not disappoint one bit. Truly keeps the wind out keeps you warm. Great product. Temps were in the low 30s with 24 to 38 mph gusts. . . wind chill in the low 20s upper teens.

Unique piece

The purpose of this garment is warmth in the bone chilling elements like cold wind, rain and snow. Second to the right boots this Fanatic Jacket is imperative for cold weather survival. Incredible mobility when drawing my bow. Thank you Sitka.

No such thing as too warm

After trying all kinds of different layering pieces and outerwear and still getting cold I broke down and bought the fanatic jacket and bibs. I cannot imagine getting cold in this system even with no layers underneath. The features on the jacket are unmatched as well. The hand warmer pocket alone is worth the price. Some people complain about bulk but for the level of warmth that this system offers it is extremely light and bulk is minimal imo.

Trad bowhunting

Being a trad bowhunter, I've always used wool, but this year tried the Fanatic jacket. I'm always concerned about the string slapping the arm but the design of the jacket had no affect on my shooting. I practiced before going in the field and the results were the same. Impressed with the design and the never felt cold on windy days. Sitka put some thought into this jacket.

Best jacket ever

Recently bought the fanatic jacket and took it out to the range to test out. Overall the jacket performed quite nicely. I’m 5’10, 230, and ordered an XL. I was surprised how much room I still had even while wearing base layers. This was totally worth the buy. I do plan on acquiring another one in the near future.

No longer cold sitting

I’ve hunted a long time and I always get cold after an hour or so on stand in 20 degree or less weather. I always balked at buying a Sitka jacket because of price. All the other jackets that I have bought and they didn’t make the cut. I would have been better off just spending the money on Sitka. You really do get what you pay for.

Fanatic jacket

This jacket is sweet, takes a little getting used to the zipper but I’m beginning to love it. The hand pouch up front is priceless! Also the magnetic that holds the color down is nice but haven’t really utilized it much! The through safety harness hole is really user friendly! I’m throughly impressed, and I was skeptical! If your looking for cold weather gear this is it!

Really amazing jacket

Love this jacket. Put off buying one for a while but it's definitely nice. Only thing I would change is the fleece exterior. I think the soft shell material on the jacket is just as quiet and don't pick up burrs. Love the hand warmer and the sideways zipper is very easy to put on while in a saddle. Also the hand warmer pocket lets your hands sit comfortably on top your bridge saddle hunting. A+ jacket.

Not as warm as I thought. For the money it needs to be waterproof and have an hood.

While the product is well constructed the massive front pockets create more of an visual and physical obstruction when using tree stand and other enclosure hunting methods.

Cold weather gear at it's finest!

Stay warm in any weather, fits true to size, extremely comfortable. Great thought put into hand warmer style pockets and other's work for grunt call and range finder. Great for bowhunting the cold weather.
