Love it. Super warm. Can’t understand why they didn’t put a hood on it. The women’s jacket has a hood.

SITKA Fanatic Jacket

The cross zipper takes some getting used to but it provides a great hand warmer pocket across the front of the jacket. I have only had a chance to try the jacket down into the low 20 degrees so far but it did the job. I have worn it in WY and GA with complete comfort. I like the quite material and loose fit. I also have the Incinerator hooded jacket and bibs and they are great for really low temperatures. I was not too pleased with the Incinerator muff as the strap was too short to go around me and the elastic on one end broke with the first use. It was plenty warm though and would work well for a smaller person.

Fanatic Jacket

This is an outstanding jacket all the way around. The details in design were extremely well thought out. I love the cross zip to allow a seamless hand warming muff. This jacket is beyond warm and more quiet than any hunting jacket I have owned. This jacket fit true to size I am 5’7” 189lbs and I ordered the large. My only complaint is that due to my short nature seemed a little bulky while bow hunting from a climbing stand. With that being said, I was also wearing the bibs. The bulk is where the warmth and wind protection come from so it’s not truly a negative complaint, just not ideal for my situation. I would highly recommend this system for any other hunting situation where tight quarters aren’t a problem. Thank you Sitka for another amazing product.

Excellent quality

Sitka gear is always the highest quality product with well thought out features. I am enjoying staying warm and comfortable on those cold mornings. In a perfect world this great would be less costly, but.... That old saying you get what you pay for is true, Sitka gear isn't inexpensive, but it backs up it's cost by delivering high quality and effective clothing that can make that extra hour in the field happen, which can make the difference between success or not.

I can't believe I have

I can't believe I have waited this long to get this Fanatic jacket. This thing is awesome. I have never been so warm in the late season of white tail hunting in West Virginia. If you don't have one you don't know what your missing. My next purchase will be the Fanatic bibs...

One of the warmest pieces of gear I ever wore, built in hand muff pocket and a front pocket big enough for even larger size 10x42 binos.

This jacket is exactly what I needed. The design really works for all my hunting needs and more importantly...comfortable and warm on cold hunting days!!!

As expected

Got a large fanatic jacket + fanatic bib. Both fit well to sizing. Havent sit out in too cold weather but they are well made and warm. Pretty heavy to walk in long distances, and gets hot, but its made for sitting in a stand so I understand why. Read a few reviews of people having experiences with rips and tears easily. Had to track a deer for 2 hours through heavy thick prickers and brush. Very minimal damage to my pants and jacket from that, but i likely wont do it again in my full suit. overall 4 stars.

I bought this jacket a second tome for my son. First was mens M. This one was mens L. When layering sleeves/arms are really tight. For the money dhould come with a hood.

Best Hunting Product I've Ever Purchased

I'm tired of being cold in the tree. I drug my feet and tried to find a different route. This year I finally bought the jacket I've had my eye on for the last 3 years. Now I'm just mad that I took so long to make this purchase. Best hunting product I've ever purchased!

Best Set I’ve ever owned

I have to say that it took me a while to pull the trigger on this set. I am not picky on camo, but I was tired of being cold! With the Fanatic Gear, I was able to wear base layers and bibs without multiple layers and stay warm in 28degree weather! Pull the trigger!!!

I've been holding off buying Sitka gear simply because of the price. I finally broke down bought the fanatic series. I have already sat on 12deg mornings in West-Central Wisconsin and would have never know it was that cold. Wort the extra money.

Beat Hunting Clothes For Cold Weather

I must say that as for warmth and comfort this is the best system on the market, that is my opinion. I have used all of the top military clothing and many other types. This system is by far the best. Just finished a 7 day hunt in Kansas single digit temps a couple days and it also snowed! Never got cold at any point. The only thing I don’t prefer is the collar both on the vest and the jacket. I deal with it due to how warm it keeps me, but I do not prefer the collar.

This was my first good

This was my first good hunting gear purchase. I was very nervous to spend a little more but I’m very glad I did. This coat is extremely quiet and fits perfectly, The front pocket is very nice for a hand warmer it has a little pocket for your hand warmer inside the pocket. The zipper is different but works very good to keep the coat out of the bow string. I’m very impressed and would recommend to any bow hunter.

Great Jacket For Cold!

Warmth. It is as advertised. This jacket breaks the wind and will keep you warm through long sits in cold temperatures. Highly recommended that you pack it on your hike in to your hunting spot, otherwise you will heat up quite a bit! Design. My only con is that Sitka just got too cute in the design, specifically diagonal main zipper. It's a pain to put on and zip, and just cumbersom all around. You can't put it on up in the stand, so recommend you are suited up before climbing in. The front integrated pass through hand warming pocket works great, but this coat would have been perfect if they just stuck with a basic zipper. Hunters just need warmth, durability and effective camo; don't over design it.

Ordered a large and needed a extra large. Was able to exchange it at a local dealer with no hassel. Love the big pocket on the front. Great range of motion and quiet.

Fanatic Jacket

Easily the best/ warmest jacket I have ever worn in the whitetail woods. Never once have I been cold from this jacket, if anything it is to warm. I have sat for hours in sub zero weather and have had no issues.

Must have!

Just got back from a Kansas rut trip. A few mornings were in the low 20’s and I had a long walk in. Got in well before sun up and would put this on after the walk in warm up wore off. Kept me nice and comfortable, shot my first buck off the ground!

If I had any complaint

If I had any complaint it would be the jacket is too hot to walk in with it on and too bulky to fit in backpack. Other than that I love it

Must have late season

You can’t get a better jacket for late season archery hunting. It is very warm and blocks the wind. All you need is a base layer and a hoodie. One of my favorite things is the front kangaroo/ hand warmer pocket.

Ordered xl because your stuff

Ordered xl because your stuff runs small. Normally I wear a large. I am glad I ordered the larger size. Diagonal zipper is uncomfortable unless it is up all the way. Hood would have been nice. Slot for safety strap is just a gimmick unless you put a hood on the jacket

Super Warm

This jacket is extremely nice. Hardly noticeable while shooting my bow back. Hunting in 20-30 degree west Texas with constant wind and I have to unzip it part way or I get hot. I just wear a pair of bibs and a T-shirt under it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an archery jacket.
