Have used many packs and as a pro have many Sitka packs, this is hands down my favorite for hunting whitetail. I love that I can open it up and never worry one bit about making any kind of noise and spooking the deer even when bow hunting and within 10 yards. Well made and functional.
The most versatile pack I have ever seen. Super quiet, tons of pockets and compartments of different sizes. Love this thing.
This is a great hunting back. It has plenty of room to store my incinerator set plus the Celsius jacket for when it’s really cool. Plus it has plenty of space for anything else needed for the hunt. Love the large pocket on the side for my coffee thermos. The reason this is a 4 star review is because it’s not a one size fit all. If I only hunted from hang on stands it would be the perfect bag for me. Unfortunately I only hunt pre hung stands about 25% of the time. This bag does not have the capability of carrying even just tree sticks into the woods. After two years of using the bag I always switch to another bag for my mobile set up. That being said if I only hunted out of pre hung stands this would be the perfect bag for me.
Quiet, quiet, and quiet. I love that there are no zippers. Truly a great pack for the tree stand.
I absolutely love this day pack. It is super quiet and comfortable to wear and will hold everything you need for a day in the field and more.
I have ZERO bad things to say about this pack. Extremely versatile, and has plenty of room and pockets for anything you might need. Having no buckles is a home run in my eyes. Sitka has done it once again, flawless.
Talk about a home run with this pack, and my style of hunting. First and foremost I have been in the field with this pack at least 35 times, and it continues to impress me. The layout of the pack itself allows for either a quick sit hunt, or it also allows you to carry everything necessary for a full day sit. The pocket design/storage solution allows for quick and easy access to the essentials while also allowing you great storage inside to protect expensive items (range finder, binocs, and dslr camera). Another key feature I liked about this pack is the system to hold your bow while doing long hikes in. Now for the goods: This pack is 100% SILENT with ZERO noise, and this is huge. No more clips or zippers to make noise, and the design works flawlessly. If your looking for a pack that has it all look no further.
I was definitely skeptical when I first bought it as I worried the buckle system would be frustrating and the size too small.
I was completely wrong.
The pack holds more than you could ever need, is extremely quiet, and the buckle system works very well. It is also, though packing a serious punch storage wise, small and stealthy as per its tree stand design. VERY happy with it!
I absolutely love this pack. I love it just as much, if not more than the tool bucket pack. The Silent Secure system is awesome. I’m a little worried about the longevity of the silent secure hooks when cinching down and securing my bow but so far so good. This pack is definitely the most silent pack I’ve used and I can also fit my Fanatic jacket in the pack which is an absolute plus. The only thing I wish was different on this pack is the zippers on the inside of the top lid. When I hang it from the top lid the zippers run vertical, so I have to be careful when opening it. I think they should have been horizontal like on the tool bucket. Other than that, this pack is amazing.
I'm really impressed with this pack. Doesn't look like it can hold much but it stretches nice and I can pack all my gear plus late season stuff on it. I hunt mobile so it works perfect for me. Love how it has a lot of compartments for storage and how it hangs in the tree and allows easy access to all my stuff. Perfect for the tree, and how extra quiet it is especially with that new buckle system and quiet zippers. Only concern is the bottom on how thin it feels but so far no problems and I've dragged it trough some stuff. My first year hunting and archery and I'm LOVING it!
Purchased after investigating at a retailer. After 2 uses in the field I've noticed that items tend to fall out of the main compartment if not careful removing from your back and setting on the ground. I know this was designed to be extremely quiet (which it is) but it needs a zipper for the main compartment as well as being made with a GoreTex membrane since I'll be using it more than just winter time. The aspects that make this a nice pack dont offset some of the negatives after a spot and stalk in the early season. This is only a treestand pack that needs TLC in fair weather in my opinion
i was a bit skeptical when i bought this pack, i thought it would be to small and the different buckle system was going to be tough to get use to. But i was completely wrong, this pack is flawless. Holds plenty of gear for a all day sit in the heat of the rut, bow holds to the pack perfectly. the silence of the pack is what blew me away, no matter what you access it is nearly completely silent. another amazing product from sitka, do yourself a favor and pick one up!
I recently switched from the Tool Box to the fanatic pack. I never used the belt on the old pack so that’s one thing that I like about the new fanatic pack is there is no belt. This is the perfect pack for Treestand hunters who want absolute silence yet an open concept to keep gear easily accessible. It’s very light and has multiple options to secure my bow and a thermos of hot cider. My only concern as of right now would be the bottom of the pack seemed a bit thin however I’m pretty sure it’s going to be durable. For a tree stand Hunter who does not have a long hike to their stand, this is the perfect pack and I highly recommend it especially if you pair it with the new fanatic system.
As far as a “day pack” is concerned, I’m not sure that Sitka overlooked anything on this bag.
1. Stealth- this bag is like a big, plush, pillow on the outer shell. It does snag some birds along the way, but much less noise generated in the brush as compared to the tool box & bucket. Each clasp/buckle is completely silent by removing clips and external zippers.
2. Design - they even went as far to create an externally accessible pocket for a folding saw! There are a TON of small pockets that are perfect for organizing gear and the two inside “larger pockets” are perfect for separating layers.
3. Size - the bag does not look big but holds a lot more gear than I thought it would at first sight.
It’s awesome to have products developed specifically for elevated hunting. Another piece flawlessly executed by Sitka!

Pack is sized well and is very quiet. I also like the pocket layout. However this pack does not have any structure when full as it takes the shape of the sum of its contents. The most disappointing part is it soaks up water and will not dry for days. I would have highly preferred a reasonable trade off of structure and weather protection at the expense of sound.
I used mine for the first time this season and I love how quiet it is and how much storage I can get out of it. Going to Ohio in January for muzzle loader season and can't wait to use this amazing product!
I love this pack! It is absolutely the quietest pack you can get! It has plenty of room for layers and fits my predator platform nicely. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because if you’re someone that runs hot or sweats easily this thing will have your back drenched in sweat. This is one of the only times I’d suggest Sitka to fix an issue.
I love this pack and use it on every hunt. I have carried it on hot days as well as below freezing. It has so much room and is very comfortable to carry. Extremely light weight too. The best part about this pack is how quiet it is. It never makes noise at all and keeps the gear inside quiet as well.
However… a few negatives… if this pack gets wet it will take days to dry. Yes, I mean days. Second, I’ve only used this pack for one season and I discovered a significant tear in the side already. I take extremely good care of my gear and for the price this was very disappointing to me. Durability is just not where is should be for the price.
With all that being said, I will continue to use this pack and would recommend it to anyone. I just don’t expect it to last more than a couple seasons. Other than that it is perfect in every way.
