Worse, Sitka product ever

The Bino carrier is too small for the Leupold binoculars and rangefinder combination. Also, the small pocket is too small for anything of value and simply will not stay closed.

Important improvements

Sure would like to see this in Sub Alpine. Would like to see another pouch on the Side of the Bino harness for important gear like extra archery releases or extra folding knife like a small Havolin as well as extra Muzzle Loader bullets and powdered pellets. I am currently using your Mountain harness it is great but would like to buy this one but until there are more features included I will have to wait on buying this one the harness system on the newer one is a big improvement but having the extra room is very important.

Flash Optics Harness

I did a lot of research prior to purchase. When it got here, it was exactly what I expected. Easy set up. Fits my Zeiss Conquest 10x42’s perfectly and my Vortex Viper HD 3000 rangefinder as if made for it.

Nearly Perfect

Pros: I think I’ve tried them all and to me this is the nicest harness system on the market. Multiple shoulder surgeries and arthritis has left me with limited range of motion and this harness is easy for me to get on and off. It’s very comfortable and stays in place . Cons: I wish there were different size Bino pouches or at least make it bigger and have foam spacers. I have 8X-32 Zeiss Victory’s and when the eyecups are up I can barely get the cover latched, and when I do the cover doesn’t 100% cover the Binos. I also prefer the cover to fold forward and out of the way. I often have to use both hands to get the cover out of the way to put the binos back in.

Quiet and convenient

Have used several times this year. I definitely like to be small pocket for wind check and rangefinder pocket, with attached tether. Much quieter taking my binos in and out than my previous rig. Magnetic stay open top is great!!

Finally a Chest Rig for Whitetail Folks

This is a great re-design of a commonly used piece of equipment but specifically designed for the Whitetail hunter. The re-design on the harness is perfect when you have to wear a safety harness. The layout of the pockets, rangefinder pouch all follow Sitka’s pragmatic approach.

Actually really like the design and fit with one minor con

I have tried ALL the ones out there at this point and I have the same issue from all of them. Being a skinny fella they all slide down while seated and rest on the top of my stomach. This causes discomfort after a while and the only way to reduce it is to tighten the side straps so much I can hardly breath. However with this design it seems to stay put a lot better. Its light and the harness itself doesnt feel hot or bulky. Material and quick release design is super cool and much different then all the others out there so kudos to Sitka for that. Front closure clip is easy to use and quiet and remove able rangefinder pouch is a nice touch. Side pockets are a good size and rear pocket fits a phone perfectly so I love that aspect. Cons - I dont love the flap opening toward you, I really wish they did it forward opening like a lot of the others. Not a big deal if you are western hunting or stalk hunting but sitting in a tree stand it just gets in the way imo. Not a huge deal but just my personal preference. Adjustment isnt as fast as standard designs. if you are going from thick cloths to light cloths you really need to adjust it before putting it on. You dont have the easy adjustable straps onces on. Yes you can adjust them some while on but its not easy to move the straps if you need to tighten or loosen them a good bit. Bino tether is fairly useless where its added. Wish they would have integrated it inside the harness vs outside of it and use a better attachment end. its just a nylon cord with no clip. From my binos the side holes to attach it to are way to small to fit the cord through so i have to find some other item to attach to the tether and then to my binos. The rangefinder tether is great and well thought out, seems the bino tether was just an afterthought to slap something on there. Again not a big deal for me as I dont generally use the tether strap.

Really like this harness!

There's a lot to love about this harness. Really like the ease of being able to take if off and on like a vest staying attached to safety line. Probably like this feature best of all. I like how the back is made, makes harness very comfortable. Binos (Swarovski EL 10x42) and Rangefinder (Vortex) both fit in harness very well. The only complaint with this harness is the bino cover is continuously coming loose and unlatched, especially when getting in and out of the stand when to me it needs to be covered the most. Other that this it's a great harness.

Nice looking

Very nice looking. Fits nice too. However they’re a tiny bit too small for my vortex diamondback 10x50.

Wish I would have bought sooner

I really wish I would have bought this sooner, I forgot it the other day and I felt naked in the woods. Like others have mentioned, I do wish the main pouch was just a little, I mean tiny bit bigger, but it's fine over all. I use Leopold 10x40 Gold Rings, they fit, but it's snug. I was on the border of sizing, but it ended up fitting my fine, I have it as loose as it gets and it fits over my Fanatic and Static just fine.

Way to big and not adjustable enough

Awesome product and I love Sitka but I was super let down by this one. I was so excited when I finally had enough to buy this and when I got it in and put it one I was so upset because it doesn’t adjust that much and the smallest adjustment was huge on me.

Good quality, okay fit

I found this to be a little snug, even after loosening the straps some. I like the quality of it and has good functionality.

Best of the harnesses

I’ve owned all the Sitka harnesses and this is by far the best. I’m right in between the sizes so might go with the bigger one next time but no issues with the smaller one on me.

Binocular tether strap is useless for me

It should not be this hard to tether your binos to the strap! The strap end is too thick to pass through the plastic piece which requires you to pass through it once, loop it around binos, and then pass through again to secure. It’s useless for me. Other than this major issue, it’s a great harness, I do think the S/M/L size could have just a little more adjustability.

Excellent product

I needed a bino harness and was very happy with this purchase. I love the adjustability of it as it fits over my thickest coat. The magnetic flaps are a game changer when it comes to being quiet. Would highly recommend this. Oh and it is the same camo pattern I already use.

This Bino harness is great an improved version of the other one. The ability to strap in the front is very nice.

Rangefinder pouch too small

Rangefinder pouch is laughably tiny. I don't know what rangefinder they used to test this but every one I've tried doesn't fit. The Maven crf. 1 doesn't even fit, a highly recommended, small rangefinder without the elastic loop being stretched to its limit. There also isn't enough adjustment in the straps to account for the temperature (less layers so need smaller when hot and more layers needing it larger when cold).

Good bino harness.

Well thought out bino harness. Pockets for everything. I only give it a 4 because my 10 x 50 binos fit but the lid barely closes. Same with the ranger finder.

I absolutely love my optics harness. Very easy to put on and off, open and close are easy and quiet. And protected from the weather!

The bowhunter's harness

This harness is perfect for the bowhunter. The felt linned main compartment makes this again perfect for bowhunters. I appreciate that I can also completely remove the harness to stow them in them compartment, in my backpack as needed. A word of caution; my larger set of binos won't fit in this harness so be sure yours will.

One of the best Sitka

One of the best Sitka gears and one of my favorite, I will give it 5 with “-“, it would be great if the range finder pocket was slightly bigger or there was an option to choose a size, my Vortex Razor HD 4000 just barely fits into the pocket with small gap while closed. But otherwise love every bit of functionality of that harness, definitely recommending.

Perfect gift

I bought this as a birthday gift for my son. He really likes it and said he will be using it a lot.

Great product

I like the harness, wore it on a back country trip to CO. Had a little trouble removing the harness a few times, and I wish it had an integrated or external rain cover. Other than that it was great. Will have to see how it feels in the Southern heat. Issues that others mentioned didn't bother me.

Most of my hunting is for whitetails from a treestand, and this harness is perfect for that. It does not effect the shooting of the bow and has the right amount of pockets and compartments for the things needed to be readily at hand.

Closure/retention could have been better when doing spot and stalk hunts already have had binos fall out multiple times. Good harness for Saddle hunting but would still like to see the closure/retention issues addressed. Hoping for a better version of this product in the future.
