I knew I should’ve got the XL size but didn’t and it fits just as the chart said it would. So I need to buy another one. But the one I have does fit and work just as I hoped.

Good technique

I owned the Mountain harness

I owned the Mountain harness before this and wanted something a little easier to put on. This solved it and plus they made the lids to the pockets collapsible making it really refined and slim. Would not change a thing to the design!

Optic Harness

So far I have enjoyed the optic harness. It is much more comfortable to wear for long sits than the strappy ones you typically see. I wish was that Sitka was a little bit more proactive on different attachments/accessories for the harness. It has a great opportunity to expand its versatility. However, its limited to what you can actually buy for it without going down rabbit holes. One design recommendation i have is that if the bino holder cover opened the other way, it would make accessibility to the phone/accessory pouch on the back (chest side) easier to utilize when you have the cover up and open and it would also shield the bino's from sun reflection off the lens and provide additional concealment while your trying to access the bino's.

Another outstanding purchase

Fits great, places all those things you need in a hurry right in front of you. I was surprised at the number of pockets it has for other things besides your binos and range finder.

Good harness

The harness itself fit is very good I’m 6ft 220. I’m not to overly impressed with the binocular fit itself. Now with that said here is why. 10x42 leopolds with built in range finder. They are tight I mean you cant use one hand to pull out or return to its original resting place. If I use a regular 10x42 it is manageable. The closure tab with the string clasp is an undesirable system for me. A magnetic closure would be more desirable. The back of the pack has a cheap piece of foam for the rigidness again very cheap. There is an internal pocket that snags the binos when pulling them out or returning to resting. I have a lot of Sitka gear I really like the fir and finish of the clothing previously purchased but this harness is not up to there standards I think it needs a little more tweaking.

Design issues

The good: The concept is great. The slide lock system for securing and removing the harness is easily the best on the market. The bad: Bino pocket is on the small side. Barely fits my 10x42 glass. Rangefinder pocket is also too small. Does not completely cover my Vortex Razor HD 4000. It is a smaller rangefinder and it’s a very tight fit. Not good when if you need to hand the retrieve from pocket. Both bino and rangefinder pocket covers do not close securely. The fasteners will easily come undone with a gentle nudge from a branch or crawling through tall grass.

Most comfortable chest harness on the market. I have had just about every major brand of optic harnesses you can buy. These are by far the most comfortable optic harness I have worn to date.

Love the quick attach/detach. The bino pouch does run a little small in my opinion. I have the vortex crossfire binos and they are about 6 & 3/4” long, and they are pushing it. For binos anything 6 & 1/2” or less in length and 6” or less wide will fit perfect. The rangefinder pouch fits my halo xrt7 just right. Which is 4” long by 3” tall.

Well designed product

Everything in this harness has a purpose and was thought out very well. The harness does not fall down the chest like a lot of other harnesses i’ve used.

This is the perfect harness to keep over nearby. There’s a pouch for your binoculars and storage For other small items they need at your fingertips

Cool Belt

Interesting belt, it fit well oridinally but it doesn't seem to keep my pants up very well and I don't quite know how you're supposed to get your hands into that funny pocket on the middle or how to find a pair or pants with big enough belt loops. great low price but wish they had a larger size.

Fits good. Might have to size up based off how much you layer.

Needs more options

Like many others, I love this rig, but am extremely frustrated by the lack of accessory pouches. I bought a One Tigris flashlight pouch, and it looks terrible. If Sitka would make just a few different options, everyone who buys this rig would end up getting one of them. It’s a no-brainer.

Disappointed

Rangefinder pouch is too small to fit a standard vortex laser rangefinder…..by a lot. Not sure how Sitka settled on such a small pouch design, pretty disappointing for the price tag of this harness. At the very least they should have another larger pouch available for purchase so the rig works properly.

Very sad for the price I paid

Ranger finder pocket is to small. Range finder is small and the cover dont even close right… leaving the range finder exposed. I removed the tags now I’m stuck with it on my shelf never to be used.. harness is to small. Only fits if I don’t wear a jacket

Good setup for binos

The bino harness fits well and stays secure on my chest. It does not bounce or jostle around. I like the quick disconnect feature for putting on and taking off. The built-in tethers for binos and range finder are also very handy. I purchased another MOLLE pouch to put on the other side, handy for holding turkey calls and sunglasses. The only thing i have found that could be better is the latching mechanism for the bino case could be a little more secure. Other than that, I am very happy with the purchase.

Overall, great harness. Very comfortable, light weight and easily adjustable. The durability of the clips where the harness comes together looks flimsy, but fine and have had no issues.

The old one I have is great but the straps are too thin and get tangled The new one with the bigger straps are easier on and off but the range finder pouch sucks and my one off the old one won’t mount the pouch is tapered on the bottom and the range finder won’t go in all the way constantly having to clean lenses

Comfortable but no accesories

I really like the idea of this Bino harness. Not only does it match the camo of the rest of my hunting outfits, but it is also very comfortable. However, there are a lot more downsides than upsides. It only comes with one tether for the binoculars, and that tether wouldn’t even fit on my binoculars. There is only one accessory pouch that comes with it, and there will not be any extra accessories made for it. Any accessories that somebody might want for this—there are a ton of them that a lot of people are going to want—you’re gonna have to purchase from a third-party manufacturer, and there is no other manufacturer that makes accessories for this that has the licenses to use any of the matching camo colors.

Unfortunately this harness does run

Unfortunately this harness does run big. I’m about 5 foot 6 inches and 115 pounds and I thought maybe the s/m would fit by it hangs off me and cannot go any tighter which is really unfortunate because it is other wise so well made and comfortable!

This harness is very comfortable and easy to take on and off. The adjustments are huge also. I really love that the bino cover is magnetic and locks back for easier use.

Almost Perfect

I really like the innovation of how the straps connect to the holder. I feel like it’s very well built and will put up with extreme abuse. it fits me extremely well and balances with 10 power vortex binoculars. Two things that I’m not crazy about, one is that it only comes with one tether to connect to your binoculars, and the other is the range finder pouch is undersized, it will not fit my Nikon rangefinder.

Fantastic optics harness with one

Fantastic optics harness with one flaw, the separate range finder pouch is a hair too short to fully and comfortably fit most of the range finders today. Ended up taking this pouch off and going to a binocular / range finder combo.

This thing is huge!! I can pack my heavy fanatic bibs and coat. I carry them in not to over heat! Lid is setup really well for my needs!
