Best pants ive ever owned. These are my second pair. I got the first set shortly after they came out. They have held up great over the years. The only reason I bought a new pair is because of a burn hole in the crotch from a camp fire. The new ones are more robust it seems with the material. Same great fit and comfort.

The comfort level while we had a freeze in Texas was amazing. Wind didn’t penetrate and my son and I sledded down our steep street on a pizza tin made for baking. No moisture penetration either. The pockets were perfect for storing gloves since the pockets are on top of thigh. Would not suggest for hunting on the move. They are loud. Also, at 5’ 11” the regular size length is too long.

I ordered a size 30. The pants were 2 to 3 sizes too big. I exchanged them for another pair of 30s. Same problem. The pants were multiple sizes too big. When I called customer service they didn’t have any true 30s to send me. Apparently there is a new version of the pants coming out. Hopefully those runs true to size. I own two older pair of grinder pants and size 30 fits perfectly. Not sure what the problem is, but I will not be buying any more grinder pants.

The grinder pant has become my go to for early to mid waterfowl hunts. I also wear them a lot while working the deer farm. I wish Sitka would make them in a 34 short, and they would fit perfect. The 34 regulars are a tad bit too long.

Best do it all pants I’ve ever had. Extremely durable, flexible, doesn’t catch burs and debri, sheds water decently, doesn’t hold on to smells or dirt. Amazing. I wore these for nearly 2 weeks straight elk hunting in Wyoming. Now it’s late fall, and I wear these upland hunting. They’re a bit warm for summer, not the quietest so I probably wouldn’t wear them during archery hunting when it’s really warm outside, but other than that, these are my go to pants. Added bonus, they great too so easy to wear in town too. I’m not the fittest guy, normally wear a 38 and 36 seems to fit just right in these.

Runs true to size, but I like to go up a pant size to leave room for adding a base layer while still unrestricted range of motion. Perfect pant for everyday wear when temps drop below 40F. I typically add base layer when temps drop below 25F. Love having the ability to open thigh vents to prevent sweating.

Love the product! I was looking at this or the Dakota pants and wanted something I could wear early season here in Minnesota. From what I herd and saw the Dakota is a warmer pant which would be nice late season but what is great about these pants is that you can comfortable wear the wader pants or other sweats under if you need to late season. One other thing I love about these pants is how durable the outside of these pants are, I was walking through thorns and normally pants will Frey or even rip and these didn’t at all. Overall great pants and I would totally reccomend!

I use these pants when training our working Labs in the field. The material is tough and water repellent. This is important when doing water retrieves with 2 dogs. One of them is very likely to shake after delivering to hand. The water sheds off these pants like, well, off a ducks back!
