GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Waterfowl Timber is optimized for engagement distances of 10 to 40 yards in the darker environments of flooded timber.
Weight: 19.52 oz. // Size L
Fabric: 4-Way Stretch Nylon.
Durable Water Repellent finish resists light precipitation and prevents the face fabric from wetting out.
Diagonal Thigh Zip Pockets: The Diagonal diagonal thigh zip pockets offer security for small essentials, easy access from the seated position and additional ventilation when necessary.
Low-Profile Belt System: The low-profile belt system keeps the pant comfortably in place , even when you weighted down the pockets with shells.
Articulated Fit: The fit is athletic with tapered legs and a low-profile waist that won’t bunch or chafe under waders. An offset waist button further reduces bulk when layering.

Why We Made This
Waterfowl hunters have a need for an all-encompassing pant that can work for the entire hunt. Most pants in this space have a poor fit or lack range of motion while trying to cover multiple weather windows. Our approach was to design an ultra-durable pant that could serve dual purposes–as durable outerwear and also an insulating layer in colder conditions–while still allowing for a superior range of motion. We included diagonal zip pockets on the thighs to grant easy access to essentials while sitting and a DWR finish resists light precipitation and prevents the face fabric from wetting-out. The Grinder pant can be worn as a standalone piece or easily layered into your waterfowl system for all-season hunting.

This is a tough pair of pants! Extremely comfortable.
These pants are extremely comfortable and move with you. Boot cut so pants won't ride up over your boots when bending over or squatting. Bought these pants for doing work around the farm, hunting, fishing. Bought these pants based on durability and the ability to wear these for every season. Will put these to the test.
These pants fit great and are remarkably comfortable. The fabric stretches allowing you to climb or step over things easily and yet are really durable. The zippered pockets are great for securing items during a boat or atv ride and the knife pocket is well constructed and handy.
Love these pants and the mud color. I’ve always wanted a solid color pant like these other than blue jeans because I don’t like being camo from head to toe after the hunt. I just wish they had a built in ankle garter or stirrup for wearing under my waders. They would be perfect with those.
Greatest pants I’ve ever bought!
I love these! I wear them under waders or under the Layout bib pants and couldn't be happier with them. I also use them as the outer layer when goose hunting on warm days. Very comfortable, and while they aren't something I'd tackle brush in day after day, they will do the job when needed.
I really want to like these pants more than I do, I just can't really find a good purpose for them. I will wear them under my waders when its in the 45-60 degree range, but other than that, I really can't find their purpose. I have heard they are very durable & could be worn upland hunting, but personally, I don't see that. The material is too stretchy to be that durable.
Had these on opening weekend in northern IL. Had a forecast of light rain turn into an hr. of heavy rain. DWR was way better then expected. Worth every penny
I absolutely love these pants. I can wear them anytime, when duck hunting, deer hunting or just working around the house or in the fields. They are extremely comfortable and durable.
This is one of the most comfortable pairs of pants I own. Hunted in them this morning, 50 degrees in uninsulated waders with no issues. Then wore them to my sons Boy Scout event. Love this pair of pants! Great for hunting, scouting and other events!
I bought the grinder pant last year, and let me tell ya there are the best! Great durability, breath ability, and very breathable. With a long john underneath, very versatile! Great product! A+
I own way too much Sitka gear for the field and bought these Grinder Pants for a more casual environment. Best solid color pant in your lineup. Don't get me wrong I also own it in the camo colors. It is a shame though that you do not carry it in another solid color of two, pyrite would be awesome. Let's bring some more solid colors to the market.
These are my go to pants for chores around the marsh and field, and are unmatched for wearing under waders during early and mid-season hunts.
Have worn the grinder pants on several hunts this year and other than being a bit noise through the brush, they have done amazing! Walking through thick and thorny brush has had no effect on these pants. And are extremely comfortable for long hikes!
These pants are flat out amazing. Admittedly when I first got them, I didn’t see the full potential or really how amazing they were. For some reason I decided to keep them. After wearing them once, I never wanted to take them off. They are for slightly cooler temps. I’d say 60 degrees and below. They are comfy, well thought out, functional, and have a modern fit. They are different from any pants I own. Everyone needs a pair of pants like this. These pants only make me want to own more Sitka products. I’ve yet to see any other company or clothing manufacturer who puts so much thought into their garments. Oh, and the color is perfect. Goes with so much.
Awesome pant for all activities in winter months.
The Grinder pant is the perfect pre or post hunt slack. stylish and very comfortable with a generous rise. Definitely my go to slack.
Great pant, comfortable, durable, and gets the job done. I have 3 pair, really like the solid colors for everyday use!
These pants are very well constructed. The 4 way stretch is super comfortable and doesn't hinder movement. Great for everyday wear as the fabric is very durable and abrasion resistant. The pants tend to be on the warmer side of typical everyday pants. The thigh pocket can be left open and used to dump heat if need be. One minor negative is the pants are quite a bit louder than expected but over all a great all around pant.

Best everyday pants Sitka makes. Comfortable, durable and great fit.
I just got these pants and by first impressions I love them. I like that the pockets do not have a zipper on them for easy access. They fit very true and they are very well-made pants. I love your gear.
Wore these pants on an antelope hunt in Wyoming through cactus and sage brush and they held up great!
Light weight and comfortable. These are great under waders early in the season when the temps are still up there. However, I actually utilize the Grinder Pant (Mud finish) more for dog training through out the year. The light weight makes them perfect for summer wear. The stretchiness is perfect for; bending over and correcting dog positions, climbing into and out of the truck and just about any other situation that may arise. A very nice pant that may be of more use as an everyday pant, rather than a hunting pant!
