My “Go To”

With layering underneath, in conjunction with the outer shell providing that necessary break from the South Dakota winds, I’ve seen -21 as well as snow and this jacket is top notch. All 3 patterns I own, plus the 3 vests I’ve purchased! Excellent product.

Amazing jacket!

The Jetstream is an amazing jacket! I originally bought one for duck hunting and was so impressed that I got another one in a solid color. With some light layering under it you can stay warm down into the 30s comfortably.

Great Jacket

Great jacket to use by itself or under a larger coat. I have used it in temps from 14 degrees to 55 degrees. Love the fit and the freedom to shoot.

As stated, the Jetstream is still awesome, though I ordered a XL/T and it is way bigger than the other XL/T I have in a different color…

Love it

Versatile jacked, it’s a little tougher on the outside than most of the jackets! Wind doesn’t penetrate it all! I have 2 same size, an older fits perfect, the new one size M is about 3” longer in sleeve and about 4” longer on the length.

Very Pleased

So far I’m very pleased with the gear I ordered, which included the Jetstream Jacket. Everything I ordered fit perfectly. I’m 5’10” and around 220lb. I got the XL jacket and 38” pants. Everything seems to made well, but I haven’t used anything yet, I’ll have to wait until next season.

Absolute favorite

This is my favorite piece! I have 3 of them. They are so versatile. Great combo of insulation, wind stopper, a great hood and pit zips to dump heat effectively when you really get going.

5 stars, but would like to see a couple changes, or another version

This is an awesome jacket and has become my go to grab for casual wear (solid). If I could design a Sitka hunting jacket, I would combine the outer fabric of the Jetstream, the inner (insulation) of the Ambient, include chest handwarmer pockets (like the Duck Oven), and have a detachable hood (I don’t wear one generally, so It’s just in the way for me). Other than those suggested changes (or a newly created piece), it’s clear why this jacket is a best seller. Put one on and you’ll immediately see. If, like me, some pieces in the line you wear one size and some pieces you wear one size larger, this one needs to be sized up.

Peak comfort whether walking or sitting.

This jacket fit the bill for my style of hunting. I hunted a stand for 3 hours in breezy single digits with this over only a base layer and mid layer in comfort. I love this jacket. Now I want the pants!

This jackets looks great going out on the town and keeps me warm and blocks the wind great.

Versatile

I bought this jacket for my son’s birthday to be used in a future hunting trip. Until then, he wears it hiking, to work, on rainy days.. the list goes on. It’s a great versatile jacket that he’ll have for many years. Love that it comes in tall sizes!!

Very comfortable, light, but fairly warm and windproof. Definitely runs small. I wear an XL in the ambient (and most other tops) but had to size up to a XXL for this one.

Most of my hunts I wear or have my jet stream

I own 3 jet streams. 1 for whitetail, 1 for elk and one for outdoors. Being a guide I wear the Jet stream a lot and brag to my hunters how warm and versatile.

Good all around jacket

This jacket runs a bit small through the shoulders/chest and in the arms in my opinion. Great all around jacket whether it be hunting, fishing, hiking, or hitting the local watering hole. I specifically purchased this jacket to cut the wind while fishing and I wanted to look cool in all situations.

It is wind proof for sure and so far water runs away from it. Need to have a layer under it for warmth, but that was expected. Pricey, well made, several pockets for stuff. Like it.

Love the gear, does all

Love the gear, does all the things you would expect from Sitka and the Jetstream line. I'm 5'9" and 155 and the medium allows for a light vest or layer underneath. Would consider a large if this was my only cold weather coat to accommodate more insulation. It runs true to size in a semi athletic cut.

Fits perfect, love the feel of the jacket. If you plan on wearing thick layers under this jacket I would recommend going up a size though. I wear large and that’s what i ordered. Fits great but not much room for extra layers underneath it

Amazing jacket

Kansas winds are brutal and this jacket has made all the difference. The wind-stopper is the best thing I’ve found to cut the cold on the early morning hunts!!!

Great jacket

I have been using this jacket as my goto for winter sports like snowshoeing and skiing. The right amount of insulation and amazing windproof makes it perfect outer layer for northern Michigan winter sports.

Pit zipper and inner lining need to be addressed

Thus is the only Sitka product I own that I am not 100 percent happy with. The underarm zippers are so uncomfortable. They seem colder than outside temp and rub on layer under neath. Horribly uncomfortable with short sleeves as they rub on your skin. The inside material hangs up on all my other Sitka layering except my hoody.

Jacket is great as a stand alone piece or over top my traverse hoodie. Plenty warm for northeast Florida winters. I originally got a Large because the rest of my jackets are large, however; this runs small in the arms and chest. Had to exchange for XL and its perfect.

Love the jacket. I just wish the sleeve cuffs were tighter or had Velcro. Sleeves slide over my hands more than I like. Other than that a great piece of clothing.

Review Jetstream Jacket

I’m 5’10, 185 lbs. I purchased size XL. The jacket (size XL) is a little large but, in cold weather it allows you to layer comfortably. The wind stop is great. The hood is nice, but, sometimes in the way. But, better with the hood than not. The jacket is my “to-go” jacket. It’s great for walking the dog, out in the field or jeep drives. Its is great in cool or colder weather. The pit zips are great when you want to vent if you get too warm. I’ve used it in colder weather (low 40s to 25 degrees F). With the XL size, I put either a Dakota Vest under or a Fahrenheit jacket under. The Fahrenheit jacket under the Jetstream Jacket worked great in colder weather. Just add a neck gator and good hat and gloves.
