Best Softshell ever

I’ve owned multiple other softshell jackets from other top brands and the Jetstream gen 2 is superior to all of them. Comfort, put zips, hood features, fit, etc.

Disapointing

I have an earlier version of the Jet Stream jacket in XL and love it…bought this one anticipating it to fit like my other one and was disappointed when it arrived. It was not manufactured to the same specifications and was swimming in me. Sent it back!

The Jetstream jacket is a perfect piece to add to any line up through out the entire year. Plenty of room for your layering needs. Got the whole family one. True to size the and are about an inch longer than I would like but I'm 5'6" 200lbs with very broad shoulders. I can see why this is the #1 selling jacket for Sitka!

Very solid jacket

This is a great windstopping jacket. Works great out on the water or in the woods. Seems very durable and has some well thought out features. The fit seems a little unique being slightly tight in the chest and more roomy in the upper back, but regardless, does the job well.

Order a Size Bigger

All of my Sitka stuff is a Medium and fits great with the exception of this jacket. I can only wear a shirt under this jacket no other layers. It's a great jacket but I'd recommend sizing up.

Jetstream Jacket subalpine optifade

The jacket performs well and does as advertised. This is my second Jetstream jacket and this one seems to weigh less than my first. It also seems to be slightly thinner while still blocking all the wind. The dwr is fantastic and out performed my expectations. This is a great jacket, I would definitely buy it again.

Awesome jacket! Perfect for cool weather or wear a Sitka hoody underneath it for cold weather. Bought an adult small for my son. He loves it. Nice fit with a little room to grow into.

love my Jetstreams soft-shell so much I have 3 different ones, a solid for fishing and around the yard, and 2 camo's to suit my hunting. yes they are fitted in sizing, but Windproof and quiet, pit-zips for big hikes.

Bought for south Easter white tail

I wear this with either a merino under layer or ambient jacket under. There’s some bulk with the ambient but with temperature swings in our winter from 30- mid 50s or even creeping into 60s, it’s worth it. If I know I won’t shed layers I’ll just wear the merino under layers.

Best hunting jacket I own.

This jacket is extremely versatile. I wore it this year in many different conditions s and it performed flawlessly by itself on warmer days and as the shell of a layering system in the coldest days.

I wish it had adjustable

I wish it had adjustable cuffs at the wrist. Other than that it’s my favorite coat!

Great jacket. Very warm when the wind is the main issue. I am 6'1 210 pounds and ordered the XLT. I found this to be a good fit for extra coverage - but I think the XL would have provided a more traditional fit - and I will probably go with that for my next purchase. I am very happy with it. The outside shell seems very tough.

I bought this jacket for deer hunting in south Texas and it works perfect. I own the boreal and thunderhead as well and I am very satisfied.

Have warn the jacket for about a month straight. Absolutely love it. From 8-45 degrees with snow and rain I have zero complaints. I’m a forestry technician, so lots of walking through brush at times. No rips or tears. Very wind proof. I ordered a 3xl to get the right arm length and so I could layer underneath.

I'd definitely buy again

Great pc . Really like how it blocks the wind. I hunt in Midwest and the wind can end a good hunt. With the Jetstream jacket you can sit in comfort and stay warm with the wind not cutting you.

Worth every penny

It absolutely blocks the wind. I dont leave home with out it. Its not really a warm jacket by itself. You have layer underneath it. This and a gradient jacket does the trick!

Like all my other Sitka

Like all my other Sitka hunting cloths, it performed perfectly. I was hunting in Arizonas Sonora region. An area that everything either bites, stings or sticks you, and my Sitka gear held up very well. Not surprised!

Great quality jacket, not built for primates

I've been saving up for Sitka gear for a while. Finally ordered it. Given my stature, I have to order 3X in order to accomodate the length of my arms, though it almost always runs large around my gut. This jacket fits well around my torso at 3X, but it's a little bit short on the arms. I'll just deal with it, as it's the best hunting gear I own, but would've been pleased to see sizes better for taller individuals.

This jacket is everything that they say it is. It's low profile and light weight but still keeps you warm and most of it is wind proof. This would be one of the first jackets I would purchase for my system.
