Where I’m from it windy all the time and the Jetstream jacket blocks out all the wind so it’s perfect

Great jacket

I have been using this jacket as my goto for winter sports like snowshoeing and skiing. The right amount of insulation and amazing windproof makes it perfect outer layer for northern Michigan winter sports.

Pit zipper and inner lining need to be addressed

Thus is the only Sitka product I own that I am not 100 percent happy with. The underarm zippers are so uncomfortable. They seem colder than outside temp and rub on layer under neath. Horribly uncomfortable with short sleeves as they rub on your skin. The inside material hangs up on all my other Sitka layering except my hoody.

Jetstream all purpose jacket

Jacket is great as a stand alone piece or over top my traverse hoodie. Plenty warm for northeast Florida winters. I originally got a Large because the rest of my jackets are large, however; this runs small in the arms and chest. Had to exchange for XL and its perfect.

Love the jacket. I just wish the sleeve cuffs were tighter or had Velcro. Sleeves slide over my hands more than I like. Other than that a great piece of clothing.

Review Jetstream Jacket

I’m 5’10, 185 lbs. I purchased size XL. The jacket (size XL) is a little large but, in cold weather it allows you to layer comfortably. The wind stop is great. The hood is nice, but, sometimes in the way. But, better with the hood than not. The jacket is my “to-go” jacket. It’s great for walking the dog, out in the field or jeep drives. Its is great in cool or colder weather. The pit zips are great when you want to vent if you get too warm. I’ve used it in colder weather (low 40s to 25 degrees F). With the XL size, I put either a Dakota Vest under or a Fahrenheit jacket under. The Fahrenheit jacket under the Jetstream Jacket worked great in colder weather. Just add a neck gator and good hat and gloves.

Jetstream jacket review

I have extra long arms & legs. It is very difficult to find clothes that fit. The Jetstream in LT has been a perfect fit. I wore it in some -10 weather for short durations. It is better suited for 30-50 degrees without under layers. With proper layering system you could use it to stay warm in very cold conditions. The fit was outstanding with just enough pocket storage space.

Best Softshell ever

I’ve owned multiple other softshell jackets from other top brands and the Jetstream gen 2 is superior to all of them. Comfort, put zips, hood features, fit, etc.

Disapointing

I have an earlier version of the Jet Stream jacket in XL and love it…bought this one anticipating it to fit like my other one and was disappointed when it arrived. It was not manufactured to the same specifications and was swimming in me. Sent it back!

Go To Jacket

This is the jacket that will sit on the back of your chair from September through March until you head out the door. You’ll add to it on colder days or for longer times spent in the blind. Don’t move it or you’ll feel like something is missing in your life.

The Jetstream jacket is a perfect piece to add to any line up through out the entire year. Plenty of room for your layering needs. Got the whole family one. True to size the and are about an inch longer than I would like but I'm 5'6" 200lbs with very broad shoulders. I can see why this is the #1 selling jacket for Sitka!

Very solid jacket

This is a great windstopping jacket. Works great out on the water or in the woods. Seems very durable and has some well thought out features. The fit seems a little unique being slightly tight in the chest and more roomy in the upper back, but regardless, does the job well.

The Go To Jacket

The Jetstream is my go to jacket when waterfowling and on the go. I originally ordered the brown for casual wear and then bought the timber for hunting. It is light, warm, wind proof, water resistant and has a nice comfortable stretch to it. I can layer underneath it and wear it down to temps hovering around freezing.

Order a Size Bigger

All of my Sitka stuff is a Medium and fits great with the exception of this jacket. I can only wear a shirt under this jacket no other layers. It's a great jacket but I'd recommend sizing up.

Jetstream Jacket subalpine optifade

The jacket performs well and does as advertised. This is my second Jetstream jacket and this one seems to weigh less than my first. It also seems to be slightly thinner while still blocking all the wind. The dwr is fantastic and out performed my expectations. This is a great jacket, I would definitely buy it again.

Awesome jacket! Perfect for cool weather or wear a Sitka hoody underneath it for cold weather. Bought an adult small for my son. He loves it. Nice fit with a little room to grow into.

love my Jetstreams soft-shell so much I have 3 different ones, a solid for fishing and around the yard, and 2 camo's to suit my hunting. yes they are fitted in sizing, but Windproof and quiet, pit-zips for big hikes.

The more you use it the more you like it! I have it in blue for everyday use AND elevated ii for hunting. Pairs great with the Traverse jacket for additional insulation. Love it!

Bought for south Easter white tail

I wear this with either a merino under layer or ambient jacket under. There’s some bulk with the ambient but with temperature swings in our winter from 30- mid 50s or even creeping into 60s, it’s worth it. If I know I won’t shed layers I’ll just wear the merino under layers.
