Got to try it out a couple of times during deer season. Very warm in 20’s & 30’s. Definitely a good addition to my deerstand sitting all day.

Great sleeping bag option.

I purchased this specifically for a hog hunting trip with the plan to sleep inside the back of the truck with an outside air temperature of 50F. I never once got cold and the option to walk around with the sleeping bag still on and open arm zippers really helps you maintain an optimal core temperature. It’s extremely light weight and compresses down very well for packing in and out. Thanks for creating such a unique and usable product.

Too tight

This was a good concept with the exception of the neck area. When fully zipped it feels like you’re being choked, not a very comfortable bag to sleep in.

Spent 5 days in hell

Spent 5 days in hell canyon for spring bear temps were high 30s at night to 70s during the day. Was a great night sleep didn’t over heat wearing pants and the mid weight shirt while sleeping. Would not recommend for much colder temps without layers

Warm & Comfy Sleeping Bag

I purchased this after viewing a lot of videos on synthetic sleeping bags. The bag is warm but the best & most unique thing about this bag is the zippered arm slots that found made a great difference with allowing me to sleep comfortably. I just had to make sure that I slept in a warm & lightweight jacket to keep my arms warm while I slept. The times I’ve used it the nighttime temps were in the upper 40’s and I slept plenty warm but I’m also sleeping in wool socks, wool base layer bottoms and a lightweight jacket. I have big shoulders so mummy bags are very restrictive so this bag is my answer to a good nights sleep. It is heavier than a down bag so it’s probably a better car camping bag vs a backpacking bag too. Would I buy it again…. yes!

I have really enjoyed most aspects of this bag and it’s innovative design that is now being replicated by others. The only negative, just because of my size, is that it’s not comfortable for larger frames. I’m 6’6” and roughly 230 for reference.

Used this bag in weather in the 20's. Had to wear a lot of clothing to stay warm. Bag states comfort is 38 degrees, can't confirm this as it was 10-20 degrees colder than that, so don't yet know comfort level with no added clothing on. Bag says limit is 28 deg, that's as cold as I'll use this bag moving forward. I'll bring a zero degree bag or warmer next trip when temps will be below freezing. Had to make sure the gusset was covering the zipper, otherwise cold air would flow thru the top zipper. Never used the arm or foot zip features, seem like they will work well. Snug but not too tight, I'm 5'10" and had plenty or length.

Pleased with my purchase

Kept me warm down to 28° with adequate layers and a nice pad. The arm holes are really nice, but the using it as a "jacket" is a gimmick. The bottom zipper isn't a locking zipper so walking around the zipper just rides up. Wind just shoots right up the bottom standing around. If I re-did my purchase I'd just by the puffy jacket and pants to put on before leaving the tent.

Awesome technical sleeping bag

This sleeping bag is an impressive piece of gear, but it's definitely more of a technical item. By swapping out my puffy jacket and pants for this bag, I've managed to shave off 2 to 3 pounds from my pack on overnight trips. It's so lightweight and packable that I even bring it along on day hunts. I use it as part of my layering system and have stayed comfortable in temperatures as low as 28°F. The only downside is the lack of a readily available GORE-TEX shell. Fortunately, I have a GORE-TEX bivy/poncho that fits perfectly with this bag, but since it's no longer in production, others might struggle with protection on wet or snowy days.

Funny pair of pant, fits tightish

I bought these pants on clearance at the fleet farm but after further inspection, I found that there were no leg holes and even more that it was a sleeping bag, much to my disappointment. I did find a use for these eventually. They work great for hiking if you zip up the bottom, though the arms make it hard to balance.

It exceeded my expectations

This is the perfect bag for early fall archery hunting. It’s lightweight, packs down small and keeps you warm after sweaty days climbing mountains.

Pretty good

I really do like this bag. I was impressed with how light it is. It’s definitely small though. I’m 5’ 11” and weigh 204 lbs. I bought the regular size. I was thinking of sending it back for the larger one but I kept it with the logic that it’s made that way to trap heat. My feet touch the bottom and around the shoulders it’s extremely tight. If someone was claustrophobic it might be an issue. Again, I’m guessing it’s made that way for a reason. I had seen other reviews before I bought it about the stuff sack. It comes with a storage bag, but not with a stuff sack. Most other backcountry bags come with both as you can destroy a quality bag by leaving it stored in the stuff sack. This definitely isn’t a game changer for me as I know most people now don’t use a stuff sack, but store their sleeping bags in their packs without one and manipulate it within their backpacks to save space. All in all I think I like it and I really like the whole idea behind it, as do all the friends I have shown it to. All this being said, I still haven’t used it on any trips so far and I’m really hoping that it will keep me warm. There’s nothing worse than trying to sleep on a hunt and not being able to due to being cold but I have high expectations

Best bag I had used

I like the functionality of the bag. I used it in rainy weather at Hawaii. I slept near a side of a not water proof tent and had no issues. Quality with all products I have which includes sitkas thunder rain jacket. 😊

Extremely Light and Compact

Haven’t used it yet**. Taking this to Colorado for an elk hunt. Love how it compresses in my pack. The genius is the arm holes and ability to unzip from the bottom for those midnight visits to the tree. Love it!

Great system

Versatile sleeping bag, wish the connector where you flip the foot box up had more adjustability. Also wish the arm zippers were 2way so you could close off the extra space Bt tween your arms and the bag. Other than those minor things the bag is awesome. Also wish it came with a compression sack.

Exceeds expectations

Lightweight, packable, I use the arm holes all the time. Fantastic product. 10/10 would recommend.

Slick Design

This bag is really nice. It fills in some voids where others can’t. Best thing about this is I don’t have to get out of the bag to go outside in the cold.

Recently used this in ~20F weather with heavy winds on top a volcano in Guatemala. I was impressed. Everyone else in my group was cold but with a wind stopper beanie, I had my feet and arms out and was chillin.

It’s warm, as well as comfy. I am able to zip up when it’s freezing, or zip it open during the MS Summer. Good product

I used this bag backpacking

I used this bag backpacking and camping Colorado for 5 days in July. There were temperatures ranging from 38 degrees to low 50’s and the bag worked great in all temperatures. I didn’t use the zipper for my feet much but the zipper for the arms was awesome for reading, readjusting the bag, and anything else I had to reach for. Would highly recommend this bag to anyone.

Multi use

Great for making breakfast in the tent without losing any heat. Im a side sleeper also and the arm vents make it totally comfortable. Other mummies don't work for me side sleeping. Haven't used it for spotting but imagine it will be awesome.

I’ve always been a fan of the mummy style bag and this one is even better. First impression is quality. I have not tested it in the field yet but I know it will be money well spent come hunting season. Long size was a good call for me

Best sleeping bag

Love this bag! Used it several times from early season to bitter cold nights. First time I used it at elk camp everyone teased me for a bit about it till the morning when everyone was cold but I sat up poked my arms through and sipped my coffee! Everyone went and bought one after the trip!

I bought this sleeping bag

I bought this sleeping bag for bivy hunting for elk and overnight backpacking trips. So far I’ve only tested the Aerolite 30 sleeping bag once for a quick public land turkey hunt and I was not disappointed. The temps went down to about 28 degrees F at night and I only had boxers and a light base layer on and was toasty warm all night. The hardest part about back country trips when waking up at 3:45am at 28 degrees is getting out of your sleeping bag into the cold. This bag solves that issue. I was able to wear the sleeping bag while putting on my pants and hunting clothing, made coffee and breakfast with the bag still on until I got warmed up and ready to go. I can honestly say that this bag will allow me to get up and moving without the hesitation(and maybe eliminate hitting snooze)that comes with slipping out of the bag and immediately into the cold. This adds minutes to valuable hunting time each day, which is about as much pay back from gear as you can ask for.

Arm holes for the win. Bag is very comfortable and warm. I used the bag in about 30 degree temps. I’m 5’9 190lbs and the reg size fits great.

Nice concept

It's a bit dorky to stand around the campfire in a sleeping bag, but a neat concept nonetheless. Most importantly, it's a quality bag with performance on par with more notable camping gear brands.

Amazing Bag

Very warm and versatile bag. I love the features of the bag as far as the arm holes and being able to clip the foot box portion to the inside. The hood works great for keep you warm or to nest your pillow in. I have used the bag on a few 40° nights on a sleeping pad and was very comfortable. I purchased the tall /xl bag fits great even with boots or shoes on. Cleans up very easy. Definitely recommend this bag.

I used this to sit around camp and it was super cozy. I can just kick off my camp shoes and zip up in this thing. Keeps lots of body heat in. I was very comfortable in the 40 degree air.

Got this in regular size and can say the attention to detail and the fact the bag interfaces with other insulated clothing makes this bag a must in my opinion. Should have gotten this a long time ago…waited and picked it up at sale price. I hope Sitkagear keeps making these sleeping bags.

Sleeping Bag Perfection.

I’m a firm believer in quality sleep, to a fault! Ask my hunting partners and they will 100% agree. This bag is a gateway to mountain comfort. Function was clearly at the forefront of this sleeping system. Starting with the arm holes, being able to stoke our fire at 2 am quickly and efficiently and keeping core temps up is incredibly vital to rest. Shoulder space and a real hood to keep your head attached to a packable pillow. My last favorite feature is the foot box. I place my next day’s clothes at the bottom of the bag most late season nights. This bag allows me that comfort and some extra wiggle space.
