Have not had a chance to wear out West or in the cold. However, fit is perfect for me (5'10", 245 lb athletic build, or used to be. lol) Jacket seems plenty warm just wearing inside the house, very lightweight and packable. I plan an elk hunt (in two weeks YEE YEE!) and wanted to insure mornings were covered and then removed and pack into a small hydro pack backpack. Still a little room underneath if I wear a base layer or first layer underneath.
This is perfect.
