Without question Sitka Gear is

Without question Sitka Gear is the best out there. Love the way the vest fits. Great golf accessory just heavy enough for some insulation but light enough for a full range of motion. One issue is the material seems to stain easily. Overall this garment exceeded my expectations.

I love wearing vests and

I love wearing vests and Sitka is my favorite. I started with open country camo for hunting and now I have the solids for everyday wear.

I know all of you

I know all of you hunting folks will laugh but I’ve found this vest to be wonderful for golf. We started yesterday at 41 degrees. Perfect fit and light weight with exceptional warmth.

I’m a Sitka fanatic and

I’m a Sitka fanatic and love every piece of clothing I’ve purchased from Sitka. Except for this vest. For the price, I was expecting a lot more. This vest is as thin as a t-shirt with not very much insulation. I was expecting a puffy vest from the photos. The fit is perfect and I will use it as a layering piece. Just not what I expected.

Love everything about it but

Love everything about it but not a fan of the elastic around the arms… makes it a bit uncomfortable in the armpits. If I could change that, I’d give it 5 stars.

Lightweight and warm for my

Lightweight and warm for my core. It keeps me going as a crucial layer in winter and as a top layer for Fall hunts.

I’m 6’3 245lbs and the

I’m 6’3 245lbs and the XL fits perfectly. The armholes can be a little bit tight if you’re trying to put this over a jacket, but it seals up perfectly over a mid weight layer and keeps the wind out so well. Unbelievably light and warm, would recommend.

I have never owned a

I have never owned a vest. I am super excited about this vest. Quality is stellar, and the wife likes the way it looks!

Packable just like it says. I've enjoyed this vest. Light weight and warm great for early season, testing it out as we speak as the temps get cooler.

Very light weight, works great

Very light weight, works great if your jacket is wind proof. If your jacket isn’t wind proof, you may get cold. Overall I would recommend but wouldn’t mind seeing a little thicker version in the future.

Purchased the jacket last year

Purchased the jacket last year for Colorado elk in September. Love the jacket so much I had to get the vest. The jacket feels like you're wearing a long sleeve shirt and the vest feels like a tank top. The warmth to weight ratio is off the chart. I look for Sitka to redesign many garments with this insulation.

Great fit, super durable, lightweight

Great fit, super durable, lightweight and packable. I bought the black in Large. I’m 6’1” and 190 lbs. It’s great to layer and keeps core warm. My second Sitka purchase. I’ll be back for more.

Definitely want to size up!

Definitely want to size up! I normally wear a medium to large and needed an extra large with this vest. Besides that, a fantastic piece overall.

I have two of these.

I have two of these. The first I ordered in XL thinking it would be handy to throw over my jetstream jacket during low activity without having to constantly take off my jacket. Extra warmth was ok, but I apparently don’t worry about my gear much when I get into the elk. It’s pretty shredded after one season. Totally my fault. Won’t do that again. Second one ordered in large to layer under the Jetstream Jacket, as Sitka probably intended. Extra warmth is much more noticeable, but not too much to hike in if it’s cold, especially with the pit vents open. This vest feels weightless, and fits my frame perfectly in large. 5’9” 170lbs.

The fit wasn't what I expected and felt somewhat tight around the torso. I would size up.

Fit is very strange. Very

Fit is very strange. Very tight under the armpits, yet is baggy around the mid section and neck area. The fit of the jet stream and Dakota are much better. I have a lot of Sitka gear and this piece wasn’t designed as a mid layer fit wise.
