I have been using these gloves for over a year now so I feel I can give them an accurate review. I was looking for a light glove that would also fit inside my flip mitts as a liner glove which these do nicely. By combining the two I can hunt in a very wide range of temps and stay comfortable. I snipped the thumb and index finger off with scissors as soon as I got them and have been wearing, and washing them without any significant fraying of the fabric. I will certainly get another pair if these ever wear out.
Solid glove! Definitely keeps my hand warm in 40 degree hunting temperatures, I just shove a hand warmer in the palm if it goes below freezing. Excellent dexterity in the fingers on these as well.
I bought this glove for early season elk archery in Colorado. My hands generally get cold when temps are a little cooler out. With pre dawn temps in the 39-41 degree range these gloves kept my hands comfortable all through the morning while hiking. I found myself leaving them on all through the morning even when temps got into the low 70s. My hands never felt hot as the day warmed up. The palm and fingers have a pattern of the Sitka symbol staggered on them which adds extra grip on the bow when carrying it. The extra index finger and thumb grip pad is nice on the release and also allows for use of touch screens without removing a glove.
These gloves are the most disappointing Sitka gear I've owned. The gloves are not warm considering their bulk. I use them for Colorado archery elk season and my hands get cold in the morning wearing these. I'll go back to using $15 hardware store gloves. They have been durable, however.
These are great utility gloves. Warm for how thin they are. My only critique would be to modify the grip so that there is more silicone on fingers and palm. Otherwise over time, this get pretty slick when using. I also like the newer antimocrobial fabric. Seems to stave off odor much better.
They may look like a cheap camo glove, but they are so much more.
Best hunting glove I've owned, and I've owned a lot. Very good warmth while maintaining good dexterity. Only minor issue for me was I prefer a bit more silicone for added grip on the fingers and palm.
Great glove! Buy them if you need good camo cover for your hands. Fabric allows for awesome dexterity and excellent feel. I use them for September Elk archery hunting in CO. and the index finger feel on the release is perfect. Works well carrying your bow by the string while hiking too. Just enough lite fabric padding to cushion the carry and keeps skin oils off your bow and string. This is not a warm glove but more of a liner. However, it does take a bit of the early morning and late afternoon fall chill off your hands. Excellent product.
LOVE this glove!
Wore them on a week-long August archery bear and deer hunt in Arizona strictly for camoflauge (not warmth!)
Fit great. Cuffs don't sag or loosen up. Stays tight. Breathable. Maintained dexterity with release. Durable (within reason) in scrub oak and manzanita while hiking/stalking.
This may be the best glove I've ever owned. I actually own an older model from 2012. I have used them hard from the Alaskan Outback to the rocky hills in Eastern Oregon. I wear them every day, all day while hunting. They allow me enough dexterity to cook my food and eat, tie shoe laces, knots, etc. They keep my hands warm in temperatures into the 30's, and dry out fast when they get wet. Also, my hands stay remarkably warm when these gloves get wet as well. After 3 hard seasons, these gloves are just starting to get holes in some finger tips. As long as Sitka makes this glove, I will own at least one pair.

I have had these gloves for 3 or 4 years. I use them each year for deer and elk rifle seasons. They are very versatile and I tend to keep them on almost all day in elk hunts. In the mornings when it's really cold, I put fleece glomitts over them. They are more durable than they look and keep splinters and prickers at bay. Only complaint is that after about 3 years, the forefinger and thumb fabric is not working on my phone and I end up taking them off to add waypoints, etc.
This is an absolute workhorse of a glove. I’ve had these gloves for nearly three years now, and I think I can give an honest/objective review. I’ve worn these gloves in the back country on two rifle elk hunts in a wide array of temperatures/conditions and wore them for an entire whitetail season (archery/muzzleloader). These are not a cold weather glove, but are awesome for layering and very durable. I was a bit skeptical as to the durability when I first purchased them, but they’ve held better than expected. If these things ever wear out I’ll be buying another pair! 5 stars
The theme of all my review here is fit and quality design. These gloves are no exception. Perfect fit, surprisingly warm and light. For what they are they are also quite durable.
Fantastic glove! Bought them on recommendation of another hunter and super glad I listened, used alone or layered underneath the Blizzard mitts these gloves performed awesomely! Comfortable, warm, true to size, durable (so far, no signs of wear as of yet), everything you want in a good pair of gloves!
