It is a very soft and comfortable everyday jacket that is surprisingly warm for how light weight it is. Highly recommended
fit and comfort is great. Not too loose and not too tight. The zipper on the pockets are good, but I think the zipper could stop higher to create a better pouch as larger items (like phones) can tend to fall out. One other item is I feel the overall length is long by about 2-3". The length would work well for hunting conditions, similar to that type of gear, but not for everyday way.

Owning the Off-Season
A good coach once told me that “being lucky” is actually just being prepared. It was a valuable lesson and one that also applies to the backcountry. Now is the time to prepare with a purpose, not the week before the season starts.

Very warm for how thin and light it feels to wear. Body mapped fit like rest of Sitka line.
I have worn it around the office, under my delta wading jacket and at camp around the fire.
Buy it.
Of all the Sitka "everyday" items I have the Fortitude is my favorite. It is very lightweight, warm and it looks great. My wife compliments it every time I wear it. Its great to wear around camp or it town. I highly recommend it.
I really like this jacket for everyday wear. I don’t like a huge jacket and tend to get hot, but this is perfect for most fall, winter and spring conditions in Oklahoma.
I bought this as a solid to wear for coyote hunting, and have been wearing it around the office quite a bit as well. It’s well made, and very light weight. It’s form fitting like most of Sitka’s stuff is made, but I do not have any trouble layering a merino base and light cotton shirt underneath. It’s warm, and should work with proper layering down to the 30’s. If you are looking for a light jacket for casual wear; it’s about as functional as a typical north face jacket- but warmer, I think. I’m happy with it!
