Awesome! I’ve been waiting years for something like this. What about subalpine pattern?

I've been looking for a pack like this for my saddle rig. Minimalist profile but plenty of function and room to be my year round pack. Well done!

This might be one of the coolest pieces that I have seen from Sitka. I currently have the Tool Box, Tool Bucket, Fanatic, and the Apex Packs and have liked them all. But this thing seems like a gamechanger!
I have liked the other packs and still plan to use them if needed as each has their own limitations. For this piece specifically, the "Phase 2" shoulder/back pack component feels like a college elastic laundry bag. (aka "you can fit everything in it")
By being able to pack everything need in the belt and separating your clothes on the trek in, I feel as though I wont have to sacrifice anything tool related "bow hanger, ozonics, grunt, etc" and keep my outer layer separate from the rest of my accessories.
With the other packs, more than once I pulled a jacket out from the tree, only to have a release or grunt call fall to the ground. I am excited to have this piece in my arsenal and can't wait until September!

This is the best lumbar pack available. It’s quiet, well built with lots of pockets and options for storage. I’ve looked at several different brands of lumbar packs and this pack is by far the best and the price is a little higher than other top brands but it’s definitely worth the money with everything it comes with! The gear bag will hold my equinox pants, jacket, fanatic hoody and stratus jacket and with the extra straps on the bottom, I have the option of holding my climbing sticks or bibs but I’ve found that with the straps that go around the gear bag, you can loosen them up and stow the bibs on the outside of the gear bag. I’ve recommended this pack to everyone I know and anyone who has held it or put it on wants one. Great job Sitka gear!

I’ve looked at a lot of lumbar packs over the last 2 years trying to decide which pack to get. Most lack in one place or another but this pack I’ve found to be ideal for the run and gun person, scouting or anything in between. It’s light weight, quiet and very comfortable. It has plenty of room for everything you may need in the woods. The apparel carry bag fit both my equinox pants, jacket, fanatic hoodie and stratus jacket. It also has straps on the bottom for carrying sticks or bibs. Best pack ever.

The Confluence: Identifying Key Funnels for Whitetails

The primary needs for a whitetail: food, water, shelter, and communication - often come together in places that are commonly referred to as funnels. Funnels are also known as transition areas, travel corridors, bottlenecks, and pinch points. By using maps and applying real-world experience through scouting, you can pinpoint these funnels by identifying the following terrain.
