I went on my second elk hunt in Colorado this last September, and was glad I chose this as my pack. Has plenty of adjustments to get it to fit comfortably, more than enough pockets and space to carry enough gear to stay out a few days at a time, and extremely durable to bust through brush with it on.

The pack is light. The zippers are pretty nice. I'm tall and skinny. The pack fits well. I only had about 18 pounds in it. But I'm t carried it well.

I bought this for an elk hunt and although the pack was tough, and had plenty of space, I would recommend going bigger because it just wasn't big enough for carrying gear and big game.

I have loved the pack so far only used it for one elk season in Arizona. Only thing I would loved to see changed is just a little longer outside pouch so you can fit a tripod and a glassing chair easily. The pack handles weight well and has been great for packing out meat.

This is a great day pack/all around pack. 1) tough as nails construction. 2) well thought compartments. Easy access to gear without rummaging into main compartment. Plenty of space for rainwear, kill kit, and general survival on outside compartments. Items such as grunt call, lights and gloves easily fit in top easy access compartment. This leaves plenty of space in main compartment. I packnplentybof fluids and a mean lunch!

I have used this pack chasing Elk out West and Moose in Alaska and love it. Both of these hunts have been with rifle but I have mounted my bow on the back for testing. My favorite part of the pack are the two verticle sections on the back which makes it easy to access rain gear and my spotting scope. This pack helps keep me from over packing and just seems to fit my needs for day hikes. Note I am usually with a guide and at camp they have had frame camps so I would not attempt to pack an elk or moose out with this. Big fan I actually have a second one in case this becomes unavailable.

The pack is sturdy, comfortable and the pocket designs are good with room for large binos and a spotter. The material is a little loud though. No tripod pocket, no way of incorporating rifle/bow carrying with it and no meat shelf however hurt its overall usability. Perhaps offer some attachments for those items?

I bought mine a year ago and pretty well use it for everything. I like the design which has compartments for a spotting scope and a tripod. It's big enough to pack out a boned out deer sized animal. It's comfortable and durable. I also use it for my carry-on for airline flights. It's the perfect size for most of my needs.
