Mountain Optics Harness Reviews

Harness

Does everything I hoped it would and is good quality

Great layout but too small for my binos

I love this pack, however they only make it in one size and it is just too short to fully enclose my leupold 10x50's used for mule deer hunting. I wish they would make this exact same harness but in a larger/taller size for larger binos.

Handy

Allows you to keep essentials at your finger tips. Easy on and off

Great bino harness

Great bino harness

Functional

Great piece of gear. Holds binocs, rangefinder and cell phone in easy to get to and out of the way spots.

Optics chest harness

Great up grade from the past harness really enjoing it the past couple months, comfortable

Great product

The optics harness is well made and fits Binos and range finder perfectly. Even has an extra pouch for phone or snacks. My only complaint are the straps. They are a little narrow and can be uncomfortable cutting into the shoulders. I think with a little padding or wider straps it would be perfect!

Love the new bino harness

Love the new bino harness I purchased. Great fit, easily adjustable and has just the right amount of storage for my needs.

Solid

Works great, low profile, plenty of storage. Wish the straps were thicker and less stringy

Sitka optics harness.

Love Sitka gear. Used this for Turkey season. Worked great. Carried optics and all the extra gear I needed too.

Really nice harness and comfortable.

Really nice harness and comfortable. This is my second harness because I got them in two colors. I absolutely love the storage it has on it and you can take off the pouches on the side if needed. Very nice material! Would highly recommend!

Mountain harness

Love this harness. Easy to put on and take off. Pretty quiet and lightweight.

Optic’s harness

This harnes wears great and is very comfortable

Mountain Optics Harness

This a a fairly large harness that for getting in and out of a stand using climbing sticks can be an issue hanging on the steps, I now do not put the harness on until after I am in the stand. Does not work well with a tree saddle at all. For hunting from the ground it is very useful and I really like it.

Gear

Every detail of this gear seems carefully thought out and makes miserable weather a non factor

New to bow Hunting

First year truly bow hunting. Purchaed the Harness because I just wanted to purchase one and not return for lack of confidence in other brands. The quality of this gear is unreal. If I had one suggestion the pouch on the back of the bino part could be a bit more loose. I wanted to put my phone there but with an otter box case it was very tight.

Harness straps are narrow, compartments

Harness straps are narrow, compartments need to be larger, older versions are better.

Review

Great harness great quality would buy again in a heartbeat

Great access right in front

Great access right in front

Great harness, the detachable pouches

Great harness, the detachable pouches are exactly what I was looking for. The quick disconnect straps work awesome for needing access to the binos when not wearing the harness. I was used to a different brand so it did take some time adjusting to taking it on and off, otherwise it's a great harness

Harness

Plenty of room to keep the things I need the most when hunting that is easy reach.

Wouldn't Hunt without it

Love the harness. Great space and access. I wear it on every hunt and all summer long when Im shooting.

Good harness but could use some improvements

I like this harness a lot but I will say that I would like to see padded straps added as well as a material that wasn't so loud. Removing and returning my binos to the pouch is more noisy then I would like in the quiet whitetail woods.

Disappointed

I have never been disappointed with a Sitka product. There are features that I like about this product, but it seems that it wasn't given too much thought in design. The biggest gripe I have is the straps they use. They feel cheap and too thin. I don't see these straps holding up in the field. I don't like the straps they used for each pocket. They aren't easy to quietly open and can be confusing without have to look that them which takes your eyes off whatever your hunting and we all know that taking your eyes off an animal for just a second you could lose them. I just think Sitka dropped the ball on this one.

Great Harness

I used this harness from summer archery practice through our rifle season in Northern Michigan and have nothing but good things to say about it. It is very customizable and user-friendly. I highly recommend it to all hunters.

Awesome rig

I wear this thing all the time. Not just for hunting but backpack frequently and it's great for binos, range finder, maps, compass, snacks etc. Very light and love the pouches. The draw strings and magnets for pocket retention work great and have held up extremely well. The only thing I'd change is adding velcro or a pouch to the end of the body harness. It comes with an excessive amount of length. I simply taped mine as they buckle for quick on and off access. Definitely recommend for any outdoorsman

Grab and go perfection

I use mine as a Game Warden. It is the perfect grab and go bino harness. I am able to keep binos, headlamp, pen and paper, multitool, battery pack with cable and a few other goodies in it. Very comfortable and the magnetic keep open feature is great.

Great bino harness

Really enjoy this harness, has the perfect amount of room to hold everting you want. The side pouches are removable as well.

Great

Use it on every hunt. Wont leave the truck without

Elk hunting essential

I used the optic harness this fall on my Idaho elk back country hunt. It performed flawlessly in the field. We walked around 12 miles each of the 5 days and I never took it off till I was ready to sleep. The only modification was I added a coiled bungee cord to my range finder.

Mountain Optics Harness

This thing is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and is very quiet to access. Great bino harness if you are looking for something to hold binos and a few other essential items like a medical kit and laser range finder.
