I just bought the Stratus 2. 0 jacket, pants, and beanie. Everything fits great and is exceptionally quiet in the woods. I hunted windy 20 degree weather in PA and only needed a baselayer with sweatpants and sweatshirt to stay warm. This was my first Sitka purchase and I don't regret it one bit.

The Stratus Jacket and Bibs are great for southeast, in my opinion. You can wear it across multiple temperatures with proper layering. I have sit in 20° weather with some baselayers and an Ambient 100 jacket and was warm. I highly recommend!

Ok for early season, but not good for once temps get to 40 degrees or less. I think Sitka over exaggerates their layering system and stratus capabilities. I’ve been hunting with the stratus for 3 seasons now and it does not hold up with cold windy days. Love my fanatic stuff and love Sitka’s attention to noise, but the over exaggeration of their layering and cold weather is a bit much sometimes.

The neck is a little snug when fully zipped. The hood doesn’t work well when hunting with a safety harness. I will probably remove when I’m in a stand. other than that I would buy it again, it’s a solid piece. I wish I had this jacket before my fanatic set. It doesn’t get cold enough in Indiana for the fanatic.

This jacket was a let down at first sight. But once I started using it in conjunction with the fanatic hoody and/or the ambient hoody my thought process changed immediately! This jacket paired with a good base layer, a fanatic hoody and fanatic bibs and it’s perfect!!! I would definitely recommend this jacket 1 it works surprisingly well and 2 it is very low bulk. It is very comfortable and it actually checks all the boxes!!!

This jacket provides a great wind blocking technology. With this warmth is provided. I recommend wearing an under layer of clothing if the elements reach below 40°. Coat seems to be very durable and zippers are quiet. I guess the only thing I wished it had was a few more pockets on the outside. Other than that, this jacket is excellent. !

If you like the cold, buy this jacket. Another over priced, sub- standard product which is consistent what the new Sitka puts out. Maybe you have to buy the incinerator and spend $750 to stay warm.

It seems to be equally as good as the original. I've really enjoyed my 1. 0 sets, so I'm certain this will be just as good. Definitely like the new cover patterns, though! Highly recommend to anyone on the fence for a early/mid season kit. I own a set in elevated, sub alpine, and cover now, and love all 3.

I’ve always been hesitant to purchase Sitka gear due to the cost. I finally decided to give it a try. My first time using it over the weekend however did not disappoint me at all. It was about 40 degrees and slightly windy. I wore the merino 330 hoodie and stratus 2. 0 jacket with stratus 2. 0 pants and was actually warmer than I was wearing an insulated jacket in the same conditions two weeks prior. I couldn’t even feel the wind at all which was very impressive. Im extremely happy with my purchase so far and will be purchasing a few other layers in the future.

It’s a very solid jacket and can be used from mid to late season — I will say though, if you’re going to wear in late season (cold temps: 33 and lower, with wind), you need to layer very well or you will get cold. I give it a 4/5 because I don’t believe it’s a 5 star in (cold) wind protection.
