I ordered the XL initially and they were way to big, so much so that I considered dropping down to a medium. I returned them and ordered the large as a replacement and these fit put are pretty snug and I'm worried about being able to layer anything with them. I have not worn them into the woods yet and look forward to doing so but would really like if the size difference between the large and XL wasn't so drastic.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them, they did run a little big for a XL, which he usually is so I returner them for a L and the return process was fast and easy!

Love the 7/8 zip leg. Allows me to cool off if I get warm but then can go sit for hours if I need to and stay comfortable

These are a great pair of pants for tree standing the mix of materials is very nice feature and the cargo pockets are top notch very much worth the money can’t wait to use it for the season

Awesome pants! Can't wait to try them out this fall. They fit a little big in the waist but the medium was to thight to add layers.

Review of Sitka Stratus 2 pants

Bought an XL as that's what I wear and they seem to run small. I won't be able to wear very much underneath these pants when the weather gets colder here in New York State.

Got these as a middle man between the warmer season and just before the cold when I switch to bibs. I have been extremely pleased with these pants, and the fact the open on the side to vent heat when walking into the deer woods.

Great Pant, the Large was a little big for me, purchased a Medium and really like the pant on those windy days. Very comfortable.

Bought xl then returned for Large to just need to go back to XL. Pants are very big for XL wish their was an inbetween size of these.

leg zips

I can't believe the original version didn't have the leg zips. Easy to get on and off over knee high waterproof boots.

Great Mid-Late Season Pant

These pants are great for mid-late season deer hunting. They will keep you warm with some light layering during sits below freezing. I found these pants run true to size. I wear a large with a 35-36” waist and they fit perfect. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a slightly warmer hunting pant.

Solid Mid Season Pant

Pants have great features. Pairs well with suspenders. Top and bottom zippers are a big plus. Very nice pockets. Pants are great with warm base layers and fit nicely under bibs when it really gets cold. No lack of mobility. Still easy to climb in and out of a deer stand

Newer is not always better

I like the fit of the earlier style stratus pant better than the upgraded version. I can’t believe you stopped sending that amazing belt with them. Please add solid colors please?!

Zero Wind Feel

Tested my new purchase out after getting an ice storm and high winds. Didn't feel a thing. Waist fits great little snug in the legs though, an unfortunate combination. I feel if i went a size up for leg comfort waist would be too big.

Best hunting pants I have owned! Great fit, comfortable to wear and warmer than what I expected. Quality built. Only con is they are expensive but you also get what you pay for.

Sitka Stratus 2

I have two of the Stratus pants any my only complaint was they didn't have a zipper on the legs to help with putting your boots on. Well the Stratus 2 fixed this. Now these warm quiet pants are easier to put on and take off and they fit great! I love them!!

These Sitka pants are hands down the most comfortable cold weather pants I own, warm without bulk, quite and easy to move in. The only drawback was the stride was a little long compared with to the mid weight Sitka waterfowl pants I have, still the warmth and comfort were superior to anything else.
