Best bag I’ve ever owned
This is HUGE. Holds everything I could want on a hunt. More pockets than I know what to do with. Big orange flag for walking in the woods during gun season. The absolute PERFECT item. I have zero regrets from this purchase. 10/10 would recommend to every hunter.

Had it out a couple
Had it out a couple times now saddle hunting the bucket is a really nice pack.It’s narrow style doesn’t make such a footprint on the side of the tree. When loaded with my saddle and stratus jacket ,jet stream vest ,franatic hoody and quart thermos plus and the other stuff inside the room was great.Had the Cruzr backpack which was nice but couldn’t hall the clothes that I needed.With my mini seeker and tethrd one sticks on the back also it carried really well.I was concerned about no waist belt but it didn’t pull on you like I was afraid it might.Granted when I go 2 miles in I take my solo 3600 but I plan on packing meat out.This bag fills all the boxes for close hunts that I plan on dragging a deer out.I was climbing with a pack on but being 70 now I pull it up and the zipper compartment on the to for the pull rope was brilliant it has a lot of really thought out features.Again if you need a little more room plus you can strap cloths on the outside besides the sticks and platform this toolbox is great plus it’s quiet which I love here in western PA

Love it!
I love my new pack. Every pocket, zipper, and strap are very well thought out. The only recommendation would be that the backpack straps weren’t sewn so far apart at the top. For larger hunters it’s ideal, but it rests a little too far out on the shoulders of smaller statured hunters like myself. It’s especially noticeable if you have a stand on your back and are trying to wear the pack on your front for the walk in. At that point it falls off of my shoulders when I’m walking. Even when wearing it properly I have to buckle the front straps to pull the shoulder straps in closer to the center of my chest. However, I still give the pack a 10/10. Highly recommended.

Love how useful this pack

Phenomenal addition to 2 weeks of all day hunting
I cannot say enough about the Tool Buck. We spent 2 weeks in Kansas now hunting public land and made several dark to dark hunts, I was able to store all food, hunting and clothing essentials for each hunt. Was very enjoyable! Only minor detail I didn’t like as well was the back inside pockets were too deep could be made 25/75 and have 2 which would be great for say primos cans etc. Great hunting experience great times. The pack itself is well constructed and I believe will last for years. I do like several of the features but feel overall the pack is big for my style of hunting. I do like how it opens when hung from a hook but that is also a draw back when in blinds as it makes accessing the storage pockets difficult. I had intended on returning the pack for something smaller but got a scuff on the flap when organizing my gear in it to check fit so I was unable to.

This bag is extremely well thought out. It’s perfect for whitetail saddle hunting. If your one sticking it’s even better. If you hang and hunt with a lock on it will still work but you won’t be able to attach the stand to the bag. You could attach the bag to the stand and that would work. If you have everything prehung it works even better. Overall you won’t be disappointed with this. Plenty of pockets to keep things organized.

I love this bag
I have tried 4 different bags for saddle hunting the midwest. Each has had their benefits and set backs. Honestly this has no set backs that I can think of. This is the perfect bag for me. It is very comfortable and easy to pack on 3-4 sticks, a platform, and my outer layer. When the temps get down to the low 30's or below I typically have my fanatic set. However, when walking in (anywhere from 1/2-1. 5 miles typically) I do not want to wear the jacket and sometimes do not want to wear the bibs. This bag has straps where you can easily attach extra clothing to. Additionally, I am a wildlife photographer and carry a pretty good amount of camera gear, snacks, extra straps, grunt call, bins, range finder, my coffee, and a water bottle. All of this fits with ease in and on the bag. Once in the tree, the bucket style of the bag is great for access to everything the entire hunt. I do wish this bag had a was it strap, however I understand most people don't have 10+ pounds of camera gear in addition to their climbing set up, so for the average person I would say this is not a big deal at all.

This or the Tool Belt
I’ve bought many hunting bags in the past couple years and wish I would have bought this 2nd and the Tool Belt first. I don’t pack a whole lot but I’ve found the Tool Bucket to be a lot easier for mobile hunting tree to tree and Tool Belt for the everyday tree stand or spot n stalk. It has the Sitka quality and expectations that makes them who they are.
