The best pack I’ve used. Light weight but full of features. Carries a bow or gun perfectly and with a lot of stability. Top fold over to expose pockets and is perfect for tree stand hunting as you can open it up while hooked to the tree. Love it.

Versatile and well engineered
Received as a gift. Best day sack I've used. Very versatile, top flap is soft, silent material that has a stiffener inside for structure, easy to hang bag from. Front flap opens via fairly quiet zippers, then folds down to allow open access to the bags cavity, even has embedded magnets to silently hold the flap down. Backboard is just firm enough to keep the structure without riding like a ruck on your back. Inner pockets are soft, silent high quality fabric and stretch mesh similar to my Traverse pants. Organizer pouches are set up in such a way that you can quickly and easily select your item without rummaging around. Enough room in the pit of the pack for my rolled Incinerator parka or my bibs. Outer straps are intuitive for strapping my compound to. Neat attached blaze Orange flag is tucked inside the bags top flap, with attachment points to stretch it over the lower portion of the bag, or even over my bow if I wish. I haven't used this is warmer weather yet, but worth mentioning that the back rest has raised pads, which should keep contact points and sweat to a minimum.

The Tool Bucket is my new go-to pack for hunting!
Battled with this tool bucket in a Kansas and Missouri whitetail hunt. This will protect your stuff from the rain, has so much storage and so much. It has straps on the top and bottom to strap your gear down. Plenty of lid storage on both sides and easy access to the top storage lid pouch. It easily fit my gloves and beanie.

The bag has zero bells a whistles. Very disappointed with the design of the bag. Save your self a bunch of money and just toss your stuff in a trash bag and carry it over your shoulder at least it’d stay dry then.

Ripped on first hunt
Brand new tool bucket pack ripped on first hunt of season. Warranty denied as it was determined to be caused by “normal wear and tear”. Poorly designed, weak attributes on this product. Not what i’ve come to expect from SITKA Gear.

Bought this pack before 2023 hunting season with high hopes, I have a fair amount of Sitka gear and have been pleased with the vast majority of it. I do a ton of whitetail hunting in the SE and a new pack with a lot more function was needed. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: - loads of space, pockets tailored to about everything from an ozonics unit, to knives, collapsible saws, bow hanger….this list goes on. -straps, the pack has endless amounts of external straps for lashing gear to the pack. I ok thought out. -built with the quality and ruggedness you’d expect from Sitka, the pack is sturdy and well put together. I have no qualms with throwing it in the truck bed or strapping it to a climber. -comfortable, the pack fits well and does not chafe or rub on long treks. Cons: -specifically designed for water bottles, zero option for a bladder. This is a huge let down, would have been so easy to make a bladder an option. A bladder is quieter to use, requires less movement to use, holds far more liquid than bottles and is a much more efficient use of limited space. -no hip belt. Long packs through rugged terrain, aggressive e-bike rides, packing out heavy loads….some additional waste support would’ve been a cheap simple addition. -no dedicated place to keep a quiver during a hunt. I tend to think the majority of bow hunters shoot without a quiver on the side of the bow, this pack easily allows you to place your quiver in the main compartment but it STILL keeps you from seamlessly, quietly, quickly accessing other items. The addition of a plastic, pvc, polymer, aluminum etc, plate on either side of the pack to accommodate an array of quiver locks would be a pure testament to ingenuity and addressing a much needed niche. This would allow access to arrows while having the pack on as well as being in the stand….without ever having to remove the quiver…..

This will be 3rd season
I've waisted hundreds of dollars trying other packs for bow hunting in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains! Sitka Toolbucket was the hard stop on buying packs. Going into my third season with this pack. It is flatout the best pack I’ve ever owned. The design is great and I really like how I can attach my bow, or treestand, or saddle paltform and climbing sticks for a long walk to the different bow stands I use during the season. The pockets are well thought out, especially the extra pull rope for bringing it up into the tree stand and lowering it. IMO, this is the best hunting pack ever designed

Best Hunting Pack
Going into my third season with this pack. It is hands down the best pack I’ve ever owned. The design is great and I really like how I can attach my bow for a long walk to the different bow stands I use during the season. The pockets are well thought out, especially the extra pull rope for bringing it up into the tree stand and lowering it. The pack is extremely quiet, and has the room to allow me to an extra jacket and a lunch. Many times I’ve been able to stay in the stand all day waiting for my target buck. You will not be disappointed with this one!!

Finally found the pack I've
Finally found the pack I've been looking for. As others have stated, I've used many packs that just suited but weren't what I really wanted. Now that I've found the Tool Bucket, my search has ended. This will be the last pack I use as it has what I want in a treestand pack. Perfect pocket lay out and spacious enough to carry everything I require up a tree. Good job Sitka, you finally delivered what we all have been looking for but just had to deal with just ho hum until this one. If you're on the fence, jump and thank me later.

Great pack! If you’re on the edge of getting the pack I would definitely say do it! Zippers are quiet, tons of storage, and I love the open concept design. It’s expensive but I’d definitely say if your looking for an expensive high quality pack this thing is priced just right compared to competitors. It also seems like every pocket has a purpose which is one thing I love about Sitka! Great work Sitka team!

I'm on my second season
I'm on my second season with this pack and after trying dozens I've found the perfect pack. I'm a tree stand/saddle hunter and the weather conditions here in Virginia range from 70 to the teens during the deer season. It's a ll day pack that carries everything you need and then some and it's comfortable even with it over loaded. In three words, love this pack.

This is honestly by far the best hunting pack I've ever owned. I've been deer hunting for over 25 years and I've gone through dozens of packs. It's the one thing I am never satisfied with and could never seem to find one that complimented my set up process upon entry. This pack design is incredible. If it's hot out and I'm taking minimal equipment and no outer layers i can cinch the pack down a little and it doesn't exceed my body profile and doesn't snag on anything in the thick stuff. So many straps and pockets inside and out there's no struggle at all in deciding where or how to carry things you need. On cold days when I need to pack in clothes i can fit all my regular items In the pockets plus the incinerator suit in the main compartment. The back padding is on point. When loaded up the pack definitely feels lighter than it is. So many pros with this pack and it's actually quiet in the calm woods. I finally found an all season pack for my deer seasons in the south where the temps range from 20 degrees to 95 degrees. I would buy it again right now if I needed to.

Thought I was going to love this pack. Bought it to replace my Tool box which I thought was a good pack. Due to the pics I thought this was going to be a more rigid pack and would hold its shape better which was the one thing I didnt like about the tool box, it does not. If they would make the sides and the bottom of this pack more rigid and actually make one of the side pockets shallower this pack would of been perfect. To me there is no place to mount or hold my quiver which I could do on the side of my tool box. One thing I do like about this pack is all of the options for strapping down and carrying clothing to my stand. Storage pockets are great as well.

I bought this pack back
I bought this pack back in September tried it out through November and I’m very disappointed. The zippers stick on the lid. Mesh pockets are flimsy. Material snags easily. Pack just didn’t seem ridged enough. Strapping things to the pack was ok at best. I love Sitka’s whitetail clothing it’s the best to me but I think there are better options.

Outstanding pack. The design team really hit the ball out of the park with this one. I was hesitant at first to buy because of no hip belt on this model. The pack holds weight nicely without one. Bed roll straps on the bottom and top of the pack to store outer garments for the long walk in without overheating! The hunter orange blazer that can be put on over the outside of the pack and easily stored once up a tree is a nice touch. Most day packs lack this feature. Gun hunters will love this(especially in the southeast states). Plenty of storage compartments inside and outside of the pack for all sorts of gadgets. I love this pack. Thank you Sitka!

Absolutely amazing pack. I was hesitant at first due to the lack of a hip belt, but the bag sits comfortably and carries exceptionally well. After using the pack for the majority of archery season in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania, I am extremely pleased with both the design and the durability of the pack. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Absolute game changer! First off, this thing is VERY lightweight, and carries nicely on your back. It looks like it’s crammed at first glance, but it holds a lot of stuff from clothing to gear. This is a pack that would allow a hunter to carry their jacket and/or pant, and still fit their bow on the back. Absolute game changer!

The pack is great for an all day hunt it has plenty compartments for large and smaller items. With that said some of the compartments are made very deep and makes it hard to get some items out. I would like to see it have a waist strap to help distribute the load on some of the heavier pack outs. Other than that it’s a great pack.
