Perfect piece to wear by itself on a chilly morning or to layer under a Stratus jacket on a cold morning. Like the feel of the lining and then the built in face mask. Thumb holes keep sleeves from riding up if wearing as a layer under a jacket.

Overall my favorite jacket. I don’t like the hood it is uncomfortable on my head. Other than that I love everything about this jacket.

Great Mid Season Outerlayer

This is a great whitetail mid season outer layer here in KY. Keep in mind this isn’t intended to be a wind stopper, so the wind will definitely cut through on those colder/windier days. I’m comfortable in this with the mid weight base layer underneath down into the high 40s. Fit and quality are everything I’ve come to expect from Sitka. Nothing to complain about here.

Warm and versatile

This is a warm jacket, comfortable with t-shirt beneath and out in 30 degrees. A thin base-layer would fit beneath if you order true to size; but when hunting and such- I actually used this atop a long sleeve base-layer, then had this hoody on beneath a shell-layer. Warm all hunt. And I love wearing it day to day or even just around the house!

Love the traverse hoody. The face mask is really tight so I never use it but I enjoy having the hood compared to the traverse jacket. I’m in between sizes with Sitka and for this piece I got the large so I could layer underneath it. I hunt whitetail in southeast Ohio and I wore this over my merino 330 baselayer and ambient jacket and was warm in 35 degree weather. The fleece interior makes this jacket really warm and the outside is really quiet. Does NOT have windstopper so keep that in mind. However it is a thicker material so the wind doesn’t necessarily cut right through it. I’m 5ft 6-7 165 athletic build for reference on what size to get.

Great hoody! Most of the hunt it’s all I needed. Weather was between 10f-45f. Breathable and comfortable. I was never a hoody kind of guy but this one sold me. The additional face cover that comes with the hoodie works great.

Can’t be beat!

I hunt anywhere from 65°- 30°. I love to put this on with my core mid weight and my Dakota vest. I just wish it was more waterproof than it is. But all around, one of my favorite pieces to wear.

Sitka quality. I’ve worn on a few duck hunts with temps in the low 30’s with a thermal underneath. It did the job.

I like this jacket but

I like this jacket but I wish it wicked moisture away better. If you don't have the hood up and are not using the face covering, there is a piece of material that drives me nuts sticking into my neck. other than that it is a nice jacket
