Nice material. . . zippers a little loud but if you are trying to use the zippers when a turkey is that close then you didn't prepare very well lol. . . now on to my only negative. . . the seat if very thin and not super comfortable. . . but on the up side it is very very light and I guess if you only planned on sitting for 10 15 minutes it might be ok. . . . its better then nothing I guess. . . but I use a custom seat so it was a non issue for me. . . over all its a good product especially for long hikes up the mountain

Too big and bulky
I don't like how the thing is giant just for a box call. It is too tall, and sticks out too far. I don't need a box call most of the time. There's a way to create a box call space without double the size worth of padding. Also the jingling zippers are a miss. Water bottle pouch too shallow. It would be nice to be able to move things around on the belt. I would like to see a dedicated pot call and striker holder or two, and a dedicated quick pouch for a mouth call plastic case. I dont like just putting mouth calls in loose slots exposed to dirt. Waist also is almost out of adjustment room for size 34.

Well designed, singular function gear- not for me.
I use a range of Sitka "modularized" gear including waist and full backpacks and bino harnesses. I appreciate them for their design and durability. While the Turkey Belt is a well thought out piece of gear, its entire configuration is organized around one piece of essential turkey hunting tackle- the box call. The side loaded box call "cavity" takes up 80% of the main compartment's carry capacity. If you are looking for gear dedicated pack to the safe transport of your box call- this is it. If you are looking for a waist pack to fill a general hunting needs- to stow and carry a variety of small hunting items and gear, buy a pack and cushined seat.

Excellent pack to load up
Excellent pack to load up the essentials for a day in the turkey woods. The fit and finsh appears to be of good quality. My reason for 4 stars is the pack has a tendency to slide down during aggressive walks and you have to readjust and retighten the straps. I noticed this not on all hikes but it does occur from time to time. Shoulder harness attachments points would have been a nice touch. Overall I enjoy the turkey tool belt.

Nearly perfect, excellent design/function
I have just two tiny nits. The waist belt just barely fits me. With layers, it’s no problem really. But for late season, warm weather hunting, it’s not quite as taught as I’d like. I’m a sledder guy, so more a me and little people problem. The other nit is the top compartment. It’s just a touch small. I’d rather stow jackets or rain pants in there, instead of the straps underneath. Glad they’re available, but I worry about losing gear while cruising through the thick. Otherwise, I can really think of a better way to design this. This is an exceptionally well thought out bag, with excellent features and (more importantly) function.

Missed the Mark
I believe Sitka missed the mark on this one. Ive got the vest and ove it. One simple move would have made th Tool Belt hard to beat. You lost all of that storage space on the box call holder. There is plenty of room to add a vertical one on the opposite side of the water bottle. Then you would have created a space that was taken up by padding into a very usable space. Also you would have saved weight on the pack with the reduction of padding material as well.

Seat-Pad is Garbage, too thin, not functional
The size compared to functionality is not optimal. The storage is not versitile (think dedicated pockets for dedicated, specific items). Lastly the seat "pad" is pretty garbage. Much cheaper brands provide more "padding" - even if you were going to prioritize weight over thickness, there's other ways to cut the overall weight without sacrificing (arguably) the most important piece
