Really like the concept
I haven’t hunted with this but I have already put my calls in it. Plenty of room for what you need. I’m not a fan of turkey vest. Too hot and heavy and don’t really fit . I have been using a backpack that I have to take off and use a lot of movement to find things.

I have not had an opportunity to use this turkey tool belt while hunting, but out of the box it appears to be very well thought out and will be very useful. There are lots of pockets and compartments, some intended for specific uses, like the call box compartment, others for just general use. I think it will be much more user friendly than the vest I’ve worn in the past. I’m looking forward to trying it when turkey season comes in the spring.

Great addition to my armamentarium
Great alternative to a vest for run and gun or a quick hunt before work. Excellent quality and design. I augmented the seat with an inflatable one rolled up and attached to the gear straps on the bottom for prolonged sits. A Camelbak water bottle carrier fits nicely opposite the supplied bottle pouch for added water capacity if needed. I like it so much that I got one as a gift for a hunting buddy.

Very Good Product could be great
This is a very well designed piece of equipment. It’s very good for run and gun turkey hunting. However, it has one glaring problem. When you load up with shells, calls, water bottle, etc. all that weight does one thing….pulls the belt down over your backside as you’re walking. I don’t want a full on vest and like the packability and quick mobility this set up offers. However, there still needs to be some kind of strap system to help keep it from slipping down over the backside for those of us who skip squats at the gym. (Or the entire gym for that matter!) Even adding loops for suspenders would help. Those that wanna use them can hook them on. Those that don’t can use it in current form. The concept is great….just needs a slight adjustment I think.

Liking it a lot.
So far I am really liking this tool belt. The water bottle holder doesn’t work for my hydroflasks. It kept falling out when I would bend over or taking off the belt even when cinched as tight as it can go. Small single use plastic bottles have worked to fit in there, but sometimes that’s just not quite enough water and when it gets empty it gets very crinkly sounding when I brush it with my shotgun or arm. Also I carry my shotgun on a sling on my right side, so I would prefer to have the water bottle on the other side so I don’t have to worry about it hitting my water bottle. It would also be nice to have some sort of bear spray holster option to add as well. It stays in place very well even when fully loaded.

Exellent Layout
I bought this before this season and have used it four times and I'm glad I did. It stays in place when running and gunning and keeps everything quickly accessable. It's refererd to being a "minimalist" item but I have room for everything I need and more. I have a friend that can't run and gun and I used it this weekend in a blind , where we managed to double, and was extremely impressed with its comfort in a chair by off setting it on my right hip. I have the turkey vest so I was hesitant to purchase the belt but I'm glad I did.

Almost perfect!
Purchased tool belt a few weeks ago. Great design. Plenty of storage. Very comfortable. Hunting with a bow, so like that it doesn’t interfere with draw/release. One simple suggestion, add an extra clip strap to use on side not containing water bottle holder…. A perfect place to attach clippers.

Run & Gun Perfection!!
I’ll start by saying I’m just not a vest guy. I have purchased several including the Sitka vest over the years. I just don’t like the bulk of a vest. The Turkey Toolbelt is a winner all the way around for my run & gun style hunting. Plenty of room for all of your calls, very nice box call pocket that is super quiet and very well padded, water bottle holder, zippered pockets on the front of the belt perfect for holding your range finder, shells, and other small items. The main storage and rear pocket hold everything else you could need to keep on your person. The minimalist style seat pad is removable, but I keep it with me just incase I chase down a bird and don’t drag my chair with me. If I could rate this pack 11 out of 10 I would. Try it & you won’t be disappointed!!
