Light weight and warm as advertised. It does fit a little tight on top of foot. I have average feet size 11.

FOOT WAS SUPER DRY. I'm pretty impressed with the way my feed didn't sweat compared with my previous pair of mud boots which were neoprene based. They are crazy light weight too. For fit advice, I have a wide foot with a high instep. This was the best fitting pair of boots of the 5 pair I bought to try out.

Great boot

As I was skeptical about buying online before trying on,these boots did meet all standads. Yes they are a bit pricey but are very comfortable and just as good as all the other sitka gear I own. I'd say if you can afford them then buy them you won't be disappointed.

Too small and stiff opening

Ordered this and was looking forward to putting them through the paces. Came in and the top of boot doesn’t stretch and is so tight I couldn’t get my feet all the way in and they were cutting into my calves. Need a stretchier material or something. Never had this problem with lactose, muck or dryshod

Really surprised by how much better this boot is than my rubber boots. Super light and comfortable and my feet stayed dry not only from water but from sweat. Really well done!!

Good Boots

These boots after very light and comfortable. The traction on the bottom is great for climbing in the deer stand. I am between 12-13 for most shoes and I went with 12. They fit great.

Real loose fit and a bit stiff hoping they will get better with break in.

These boots are very light, compare to my bogs. The fit is great and enough room for an extra pair of socks. Will test them in deer season.

Ventilate GTX

Have not worn them in the tree yet. They do feel like they will be warm. Very light compared to Muck and Lacrosse. I am 10 and 1/2. 11 is perfect. However, the opening / top of boot is way too wide. Not sure I have ever met anyone with calfs that big. Lots of open space there

First Impression is good, not great.

The boot appears to be everything that is advertised; lighter weight, cooler, etc. i am in between sizes so the 9 is too tight and 10 is not snug. I have not walked any distance in these boots but I anticipate I will need thicker socks and band-aids for areas prone to blisters. The top of the boot hits the back of my leg when seated (not a good feeling). If you are at least 6’ tall you should be fine.

Not warm

Not warm in cold weather. After 2 hours in the stand in 30 degree weather with “darn tough heavyweight wool socks” on, my toes got cold. Definitely not rated down to -30 as described. Also, the size seems more like an 11 even though I ordered and have a size 10. For $400, don’t waste your money if you hunt in cold weather. Unlike most of the other reviews, this one is not incentivized.

Excellent quality very comfortable. Fit true to size. Others have stated they look big but they actually dont look any bigger than boots in their class. My feet freeze in rubber boots. I look forward to getting in them for my first bow hunt in a couple weeks

Ventlite gtx boot

Coming from lacrosse, the ventlite boot has surpassed my expectations so far. The price is steep but my feet didn’t not sweat in these with temps in the mid 50’s and that is worth the money to me. Can’t speak of how they perform in colder temps but with dry feet you are ahead of the game already. Fit and finish is typical Sitka quality and they are considerably lighter than my lacrosses were.

So far so good. I

So far so good. I waited to review these until I actually used them on a hunt. First hunt with them yesterday started with 39 degree morning with temps ending up in the upper 50’s here in southwest Michigan. Tracked a deer and my feet were never cold and never hot. They were very comfortable with no heel slip which I always have an issue with. I will update this review when the temps are zero and see if they truly are as advertised. My feet are always cold so I spent the extra money to see if this broken old veteran could enjoy hunting again. I only gave a four star until they pass the true test of below zero they pass that test and it’s 5+ stars.

Great boot, but it’s a little loud at the top. Maybe once it’s time to wear heavier clothes it will be better having more stuff tucked into them.

Fantastic boot, but bad sizing, sizes run big a little and not offering half sizes is a huge downside. The price point is a little steep but I’m ok with it to have good quality. Just wish sizing was better. All of their footwear runs big.

Cat urine

I have had this boot 6 months now. The boot is large on your foot and very clumsy. If you get the boot wet, it holds moisture for days, very difficult to dry out. Upon dry the boot smells like cat urine for several days after. I would not recommend this product, let’s face it. We all go over our boots at some point in time.

These boots are considerably lighter than my other knee high boot and they vent better also. Can't wait to test these out this fall.

I haven't had a chance

I haven't had a chance to wear these boots in the field but they are exceptionally light for "rubber" boots. They feel a little tight for my wide feet, but im hoping that loosens up with wear.
