This is one versatile piece, from travel to field work to hanging out. It’s a bigger and longer fit than the original; seems a size bigger.

Women’s Fanatic Hoody

Very comfortable and warm. Love the fleece. Tighter across the chest for layering and long arms, however the sleeves can be rolled up. I am of small stature so I take this into account. That said, this is my 3rd fanatic hoody, so this item gets 5 stars from me.

I love this to layer under my Trverse Jacket. It’s roomy I’m 5’3 120 lbs and a size Small fit perfect with some extra room for the merino long sleeve underneath. I love to layer.

The Fanatic Hoody has fast become my favorite hoody!! It is great to wear with jeans and long enough to wear with leggings. Super warm and tons of pockets which is great.

This hoodie is not only a beautiful color but it’s also light weight and very warm! It’s my favorite hoody! I’ll be purchasing it in the other solids! I also have it in EV2 for hunting and it’s my go-to for sure!

Review update

I have a review below titled “I love this”. I still do but I have to knock it down one start because of how quickly it gets ratty from pilling. I only washed it once and let it air dry. I’ve only worn it underneath my jacket a few times for 30 mins at a time on the way to work, so it hasn’t been underneath anything long enough for it to be rubbing against other material. I’ve been using it as a regular hoody so the pilling bothers me. I don’t want to look scrappy. But since it’s made for hunting and not a fashion statement it’s still an awesome piece of clothing to stay warm. I’d still recommend it.

I lOVE THIS

I absolutely adore this hoody! I apprehensively bought small, thinking it may be too tight on my arms since they're relatively muscley and I hate feeling bunchy and bound, especially when worn underneath jackets. It fits snugly without making me feel restricted since it has an excellent stretch to it. I can wear it with a bra or nothing underneath and still feel warm and comfortable. Additionally, it works just as well with a thin tank or T-shirt without feeling bulky or hot. I work in the far north mountain area of Vegas/Pahrump, where the wind and cold can get unbearable early morning. I've worn the hoody a few times without a jacket, and it still cut the wind and kept me warm enough to walk the 300-yard windy 40-degree walk to my truck. And again, since it's not bulky, it works as a perfect mid-layer to fit under my jackets. What I love about Sitka is they understand how to design women's products that make us happy. I'm pretty sure they put extra butt padding in the fanatic bib that the men's bib doesn't have, as well as extra chest padding. I swear their goal is to keep us from complaining in a deer blind somewhere, but I digress. The fanatic hoody has extended cuffs that turn into little mittens with a thumb cutout. There's a standard middle pocket for your hands and an underside mesh-type pouch. I'm still deciding what to store there. There's a little chapstick/card pocket on the left breast, too. The hood is fantastic, as it fits shapely to your head and has a breathable mesh mask attached to protect your face from the wind. It tucks unnoticeably to the inside of the hood when you want to use it. I also love the length of the hoody. It comes down to the top of my thighs. Nothing is more annoying than feeling a draft go up your back in the cold. Tugging at a shirt that keeps riding up my jacket drives me insane. So I give this puppy 10/10

Excellent product. I love the way it fits and is an excellent under layer this winter. I especially love that the sleeves can become mittens, and the hood has a face guard for the neck. Definitely one of my favorite Sitka Gear items!

Just received my hoodie and

Just received my hoodie and love it. Compare to the original women hoodie this one is worth the upgrade. I love the technology of the old material but the extra front pocket, longer torso, hand warmers and face shield are amazing upgrades. You will find yourself wearing this hoodie more than in the field or scouting, it is comfortable and simple for everyday wear. Love it Sitka and keep up on the women’s line. I can’t wait to get the new insect repellent material on a women’s fit.

Wonderful to feed in the

Wonderful to feed in the -35 windchill this winter. Love layering with all the Sitka gear - this is the perfect first layer. Easy to move in. Love the neck gaiter in the hood. Very convenient. The long arms with flip over mittens are also very handy.

These are pretty neat, I

These are pretty neat, I only wish I had the ones the zipper went all the way down on, but it’s not that big of a deal. These are great for layering and I do size up with all my Sitka women’s line stuff to make sure I can move easily. They have a really clean athletic fit that complements strong shoulders.

I am 5'8'' with 5'10'

I am 5'8'' with 5'10' arm span. I ordered a size large and it is comfortable and fits perfectly. It is fitted without being baggy and FINALLY I have a top that is long enough in the arms! The body length is nice as well and doesn't creep up exposing your lower back. Best points - it blocks the wind, long enough arms, and the hood is well thought out. I live in Iowa and between hunting, sitting at outdoor sporting events, and snowmobiling, this gets a lot of use. I have not worn it by itself for a long length of time, so I can't review it that way. I have worn it as a base layer and it has been fabulous. I know it stops the wind because the jacket and vest I have worn over it were not windproof. The hood fits good with or without a ponytail - I also wear the hood up under my snowmobile helmet. The hood covers well without limiting your sight. It is also quiet for hunting. I would easily wear this daily and the only reason I don't is the price. I am trying to save it for when the conditions warrant it. I have not found any downsides to this product yet. If I start to get pilling on it like some of the other reviews stated, I will update this post if I can. I know the price is high, but I hate being cold and uncomfortable, so it is worth it for me.

Wanted to love this .

Wanted to love this . It is very warm ; but after just one wear the entire thing is pilling so bad . And not just where the binoculars harness was . The sleeves elastics are also showing through . Disappointed because even on sale it was still pricey . My boyfriend has the men’s version and it did not do that .

I was so excited for

I was so excited for this hoody and really wanted to love it! The Bison color is to die for. For sizing I was right on the borderline of the small and medium waist measurements, so I opted for the medium and was glad I did. I don't like my clothing super compressive. There were a few things that just didn't hit the mark for me though, so I ended up returning. The built in mittens- at first I thought they were going to be awesome, but when not in use, you are left with sleeves that are waaay too long and have to be folded up. I felt like a kid wearing a hand-me-down that was too big because of the sleeves (but overall the rest of the size was good). The sewing of the material also felt itchy around my wrists where the sleeves had to be rolled back. As far as bow shootability, I did not feel like I had a great range of motion in the shoulder. I never shot my bow in it because I knew I'd be returning it, but I don't think it would've been great for that. If the hoody didn't have the built in mittens, and thus the insanely long sleeves, I probably would've kept it for casual everyday wear. Now that I think about it, I almost wish I'd just taken it to a tailor to have the sleeves hemmed up, but that would've cost extra. This was my first piece of Sitka, and I'm still not a convert, but I might try it again in the future.

Really like this hoodie, it’s very quiet and the inner face mask is awesome when it’s a tad chilly or you’re running around in a side by side. Definitely good for archery with a base layer or two when you go from 40-80 in the span of 5 hours!

This hoodie is my favorite to wear for just about everything! I received it as a gift and highly recommend it to all my family members. The fit for a woman is amazing. It’s my go to for hiking biking boating/ fishing camping or just lounging around the house. I am impressed at the comfort in varying outdoor temps and windy conditions.

I love this hoodie not

I love this hoodie not only for walking around but for mid season white tail hunting. It’s perfect paired with my early season gear on hunts that get in the high 40- low 50’s. I would give it five stars if it had the safety harness port like the jackets.

I bought the Fanatic Hoody

I bought the Fanatic Hoody as my first Sitka product, and it’s perfect! I live in Iowa, so I primarily hunt whitetails, which is why I chose this product. It’s truly made to fit a woman’s body. The face mask in the hood is super convenient for a hunter, no more forgetting your face mask! The hoody is very warm in itself, perfect for 30-50 degree weather. I don’t over-heat or get cold in it, so it’s good at regulating body temperature! The fabric of the hoody is also very nice quality, it’s thicker, and the waffle-knit inside fabric is very soft and cozy. I wish I could wear it every day! Sitka’s products are made as an athletic fit, so if you like your hunting clothes a little looser like I do, I would order a size bigger. I would recommend this as a first product for the whitetail hunter to try out the brand, they really live up to their name! Great job, Sitka!

Bought this last year for

Bought this last year for myself and my best girlfriend as we are both upland hunters in the north. We LOVE these Hoodies! I got a large just to have extra room and be comfortable and wow is it warm! The face mask and mittens that the hand holes form if you need them is amazing! Who ever engineered this hoodie did a damn good job! Love it. Great for 30-45 degree weather for me and allows me to have minimal layers on because it’s THAT warm
