I've not yet had opportunity to wear it out in the blind (stupid work schedule getting in the way of fun), but it is very comfy, and I'm convinced it will be very helpful in keeping me warm and dry. The material feels strong as well as the zippers, and I like the pocket placements and attachments to make doing things all the more easier and quieter :) I'm 5'7", 125lbs with broad shoulders. Zero complaints about fit from me :)

Wearing the coat as outer layer fishing in 32 degree weather and keeps me warm. The wind does get through it a bit though. Do wish the hood was a bit longer in front for more coverage from the rain. All Sitka produces run a bit small so just have to order a size up.

I love all the pockets especially the top portion to slide your hands in to keep warm. Not as bad but like the bibs it does run large. The hood doesn't stay up very well if you have an additional sweatshirt underneath.

We love Sitka Gear and have been loyal customers for a while — the quality and performance of their men’s products are excellent. However, we’ve been a little disappointed with the women’s line. The women’s gear doesn’t seem to be as warm or made with quite the same materials as the men’s versions. I ended up ordering a men’s piece for my wife because there were fewer options available in women’s, but it fit tighter around the hips and wasn’t quite the right shape. We’d love to see Sitka offer more variety and ensure the women’s gear matches the same warmth, thickness, and overall quality as the men’s. Still great gear — just hoping for a little more equality in the lineup!

I absolutely love this jacket! Unfortunately, I ordered a size small which did not fit me across the shoulders. I found it tight and I was unable to comfortably lift my arms up (especially for holding a gun). I am quite a small person and very small chested so I very surprised by this. I am typically a size xs to s so the sizing run smaller then expected. Overall the jacket is very warm and I am excited to get my size medium.

This is a very well made jacket with quality materials and attention to detail. However, the fit runs small and the insulation is lighter than expected. In order to stay warm I needed to wear a thick baselayer, a midlayer, and an additional insulated jacket underneath. The neck opening is also uncomfortably tight when zipped, which makes it difficult to wear for long periods. Overall it is a nice piece but the sizing and warmth did not meet my expectations. I am 5'2" and 130lbs and needed a medium.

I love the fit of the jacket. It’s longer in the rear so it fits how I like a jacket to fit. The arms are long enough and the front pockets are well placed for easy grabbing of my shells when I’m in the field or at the gun club shooting clays. The front top zipper pocket fits my phone perfectly and I like that it’s lined to keep is scratch free. I take all of our businesses photos and videos for our website and social media so unfortunately I often always have my phone and the pocket is helpful.

Incredibly warm jacket. I’ve only worn it 3x so far this goose season, but it blocked the wind and stopped the shivering! Looking forward to testing it out in the boat for ducks! I tried doing some online research before purchasing to reference sizing, but there’s very little reviews on Sitka’s women’s line… I’m 5’3” 130lbs small chest, typically size XS-S in tops. I ordered a Medium in this jacket. I think a small would have been too restricting for myself because I wear a LOT of layers. I hope this helps!

Went on a bull elk hunt in New Mexico. It was absolutely perfect! The weather ranged from 28 degrees tand snow and rain to 60 degrees and sunny. It kept my dry, warm, and comfortable the whole 5 day hunt. It was perfect. We had elk about 150 yrds away they were a bit confused but didn't spook at all! We got our 5x5 bull elk.
