LOVE this jacket. I will never ever stop complaining that Sitka doesn’t offer women’s waterfowl in the Timber color. I hunt mostly flooded timber. I would own wayyyyy more Sitka gear if they offered that pattern in women’s clothing. No complaints at all about the jacket though. Amazing for those cold windy mornings

This jacket has been amazing. Unfortunately I haven't used it yet for the early season but plan too for the next split. This is my second purchase as I needed to size up. As a woman the cut is amazing on the Hudson Jacket. My only complaint is that the Hudson jacket for woman is not made in Timber.

I have this jacket and bibs and while it was a lot of convincing from my spouse to get me to make the jump to Sitka gear, I don’t think I will ever go back. Sitka as a company is amazing first of all, and you just wash your gear and ship and they fix whatever you break. After a while I had to have the zipper replaced on my jacket and I literally shipped off my bibs today for repair, but they are fast and they do a good job and it’s no problem. For how hard and as much as I use my gear, they hold up. We do bird hunt with the dogs, but that is once or twice a year. I use my jacket and bibs 2/3 of the year every day outside and for working with horses as they are quiet and warm but not too warm and I can move effortlessly. I do always size up for layering so all my stuff is large. We went to a store for my first jacket to figure that out. The bibs are long enough to ride but won’t drag with my outdoor boots. I’m 5’5 with my boots on and 150 and wear women’s large in all the Sitka gear to be able to move freely.

I bought this jacket specifically in preparation for a goose hunt in central Washington at the end of December. I made sure to buy it with enough time to test it out prior to my hunt. I work outside a majority of my days during the week, and I put this jacket to the test. I wore this over the top of all of my layers and still had room to move or add another. The wind was ripping from the north, and it was as low as -21 degrees outside. Let me tell you, the wind stopper on this jacket is awesome. I didn't feel any bit of wind penetrate that jacket. I didn't get cold, and I didn't overheat even while hiking uphill. I ended up using it on my goose hunt which was around a 0 degree day, wind blowing from the north again, but this time I wasn't walking around. I still didn't get cold. The wind still didn't penetrate the jacket. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for something that they need to keep warm as well as protect them from the wind. When looking at the size chart, I went off of the size for the waist. My waist is 30', so I went with a large. I wore a long sleeve shirt, zip up jacket, a sitka vest, and then this jacket on top. Like I said, I didn't overheat and I didn't get cold. If you're hesitant on it, just buy it. You won't be sorry.

Sadly disappointed in fit. First bought Medium which is my normal size and much too tight in the shoulders. Exchanged for Large, body fits well but shoulder are still tight and uncomfortable with no layers underneath and I do not have exceptionally wide shoulders. Love the jacket and pocket and material and everything else, but think I might go Men's size from now on. I'm 5' 7' 128# athletic build but not swimmer shoulders.

Sitka, you out did yourself again. WOW. This jacket has so many awesome features and functionality. It also just looks good. It works so well for the outer layer on those cold drizzly hunts and keeps you comfortable. It's expensive but worth every penny.

It was too warm to wear this when I went duck hunting, but I have worn it fishing and it is awesome! This is a shell, but I wore just this -no hoodie or base layer- with waders in rain/snow storm (maybe 25-30 Fahrenheit) and it kept me warm and dry. For reference, I’m 5’ 7”, 150lbs and the medium fits nicely with room for layers underneath.

This jacket is awesome. I’ve lived on this earth for twenty-three years and have never worn a jacket that fit my shoulders as well as the Hudson. Every time I put on my Hudson jacket, I throw my arms up in the air, because it feels that amazing. My shoulders....they’re free. Thank you Sitka. I purchased a medium and would say the jacket is very true to size even with some layers underneath. (I’m 5’ 8”/ athletic build / curvy-ish) The Hudson Jacket is a must buy and all around, a great outdoor jacket. So worth the moo la la.

This jacket changed the game of late season waterfowl for me! Although I’m usually able to bundle up enough to stay warm with my Sitka base layers, having a single jacket to cut the wind and moisture out allowed me to thoroughly enjoy the hunt and not have to focus on staying warm/ cold

I’ve only worn it for a couple of duck hunts but I’m loving it so far. It keeps me warm and dry and doesn’t get in the way of my shooting. The only thing I would change is the chest pocket placement. The pockets are too high.
