Great Jacket

Warm, lightweight, surprisingly breathable. Not as quiet as the Sitka soft shell, but definitely still quiet. Used on New Mexico Hunting trip in December with temperatures ranging 20F to 70F along with soft shell and mid-weight base-layer. Great comfort while hunting in this wide range of temperatures. I purchased a large when I wear smalls in the other SITKA tops to facilitate layering and the jacket still fit well and was reasonably flattering.

Comfiest Jacket Ever!

My wife’s new favorite jacket

I got this for my wife in size large. She doesn’t walk out the door of the house without it on anymore. She loves how lightweight it is but she doesn’t complain about being cold anymore. It fits her well but it is a close cut jacket. Not much room for layering, but I don’t think she needs it. Thank you for another great product.

Lightweight and warm, good layering piece

This jacket is very light weight but warm. I believe that I have the earlier version without the hood. I purchased this jacket 4 years ago and there isn’t a snag etc on it. It’s the perfect outer layer on cool fall days and a great mid layer when it gets cold. I usually wear it with the merino hoodie (which is literally my favourite piece). When I get warm, it doesn’t take up much space or weight in my pack. I’d definitely buy this again. I think the new hood is a plus too.

Perfect down winter jacket!

I was lucky enough to purchase this jacket when it went on black friday sale and loved it from the moment I tried it on!! I was looking for a nice down jacket for hunting and cold-weather Montana, where it is winter longer than any other season! I can already tell this jacket is going to do the trick, just the few times I've worn it. It is so warm with hardly anything underneath! I got the storm color which is a really unique and pretty pale slate blue (as I already have enough black coats). I would say that it does run true to size. If you are between sizes, order a size up if you are wanting to layer underneath since this is a top layer. I ordered a small and medium as I tend to be between sizes. For reference, I am 5'9, 147lbs, 34C and 27" waist. The small fit, but was a slim fit and I could tell I wouldn't be able to layer more than a t-shirt underneath, so I opted to keep the medium instead to layer underneath. Even going with the M, it still has such a flattering fit. The sleeves are long enough (which is a problem for me finding them long enough) and it has a nice cinch option at the bottom as well. If you are debating getting this, it will be a great winter investment. Knowing what I know now, I would even buy this coat at full price as I can tell it will last many years.
