Moisture Wicking

Features & Benefits

Highly Breathable and Thermally Regulating

Polartec Alpha Active is a non-migrating lofted fleece insulation that offers superior breathability and moisture management. This versatile insulation allows us to construct a garment with a more open liner fabric, greatly improving breathability. By keeping moisture vapor moving freely through the fabric, it increases overall air exchange and drastically speeds up dry times. This advancement increases thermal adaptability in changing conditions and different phases of physical activity.

Durable Water Repellent Finish

The DWR finish on the Kelvin Active Jacket allows the garment to shed light precipitation when worn as an outer layer.

Brushed Fleece Hand Zip Pockets and Interior Zip Chest Pocket

The zippered chest pocket secures your necessities and doubles as a stuff sack. Hand warmer pockets are lined with brushed fleece for added warmth.

Neck and Chin w/ Brushed Tricot Lining

The neck and chin are lined with a brushed tricot to prevent chafing and add warmth and comfort.

I got this coat from my Sitka obsessed husband for Christmas. I frequently hike and travel and am always looking for a quiet, non-bulky layer to fit over a long sleeved tee. This jacket is perfect. I frequently find myself coming in the house and forgetting to take it off because it's so comfortable. It's highly breathable and a better choice to an overheated fleece jacket. I never would have bought this for myself... glad he did.

This is a super nice lightweight jacket. Ordered a Medium as I wear medium in pretty much the rest of the Sitka line. Had to exchange it for a Small. For reference I’m 5’5” #130. It fits big compared to the rest of the mediums I have.

Bought this jacket for an Arizona archery bull elk hunt. The weather has been warm and cool and the jacket has performed great. Fit is very good and the jacket is very light and breaths well. Have used the jacket to both sit and kneel on while waiting for the bulls to come in and dampens the noise when getting ready for the shot. Great purchase. Just wish sitka offered a womens vest in this material. Considering converting a jacket to a vest if Sitka does not come out with the womens vest.

I love this jacket. As a guide I need good layers that aren’t overly bulky for this cool fall mornings that turn warm in the afternoon! This jacket is perfect for fall and is extremely breathable and moveable which is something highly important to me. I would buy this jacket a million times over again.

Big fan of this jacket! I usually wear a L in all of the mens and the L in women's fits me really well. I usually have issues with sleeve length, but these are long enough. I also have pretty broad shoulders but I haven't had any issues with the shoulders being tight. I used this jacket at about 45 degrees outside doing backpack cardio. Had a t shirt on underneath and it seemed to breath really well. Nothing like a traditional puffy jacket. I think this will be an awesome jacket on those cold hiking days!

This is an excellent technical piece that offers warmth and exceptional breathability. Worn on a remote November Kodiak deer hunt, and provided thermoregulation during both hiking and spotting. I rarely took it off. Fit is perfect in my typical XS. Love.

My favorite piece I have ordered so far! Lightweight, super soft and comfortable. Will be perfect for that extra layer.
